CH 14: Wishes

In the midst of the intense battle, Luffy's eyes were fixed firmly on his opponent as he gathered all his strength. With a fierce determination, he launched his large fist forward, unleashing a powerful punch that aimed straight at his opponent. Meanwhile, Ei was not backing down either. She gathered all her electro power and strength, creating a powerful aura around her as she dashed toward Luffy with full force, ready for the final clash. As the two warriors charged towards each other, each determined to emerge victorious.

Luffy: King Kong Gun!

Ei: Musou Shinsetsu!

Upon Impact, the collision turned into a powerful tornado. As the tornado increased its size, it approached Lumine, but then Yae took action.

Yae: We should go now.

Lumine: But-

Yae teleported away with Lumine before she could finish her sentence, evading the tornado's destruction. The tornado continued to spread throughout the arena, taking the Miniature Torii gates with it. Wiping all it's left in the Plane of Euthymia.

After their final clash, Luffy's giant fist is still intact, as is Ei's sword. Ei is now spent, exhausted, and heavily injured. While Luffy coughs out his air as he flies around, shrinking himself into his normal state and falling to the ground. Meanwhile, Ei switches her weapon into her polearm to support herself, and she looks ragged; her hair is just a mess, and her clothes are dirty and torn. Even blood can be seen flowing from her mouth and head. At the same time, Luffy limps and crawls. He is also in the same condition as Ei...both of them are limping, panting, and exhausted.

Ei is still standing, so she approaches Luffy while limping with help from her polearm...once she is near Luffy. Lumine and Yae teleport back to witness the final showdown.

Ei: Are you planning on returning... To defeat Heavenly Principles in the future?

Luffy was taken aback when he heard this from the Raiden Shogun. He is well-versed in the Heavenly principles and knows that Lumine is similarly trapped in that world just like him. Ei waited patiently for his reply until Luffy finally answered her question.

Luffy: You damn Right I will! But I do more than that! I'll kick anyone's ass who lay a finger on my friends!!! No matter how long it takes! or at least die trying, that's a promise!!!

Ei is shocked, and their eyes widen as Luffy's answer makes her remember her lover, Joyboy.

Ei: You really are just like him...

After that, she respects and recognizes Luffy, and then she falls on her back. Yae and Lumine are stunned, speechless, and shocked at what happened. Not only does Luffy manage to defeat her will, but he actually manages to defeat her in a duel. For the first time in hundreds of years, a god is defeated, one of the seven archons, breaking Ei's ambition in the process.
