She screamed and tried to get up. I pulled the trigger. Blood splattered everywhere. "Haven't I given enough." She whispered before she died.

She lay there on the bed, her beautiful face contorted in pain and fear. The expression on her face was one of utter shock and disbelief as if she couldn't comprehend what had just happened. "Well that was fun."

I walked around the bed, taking in the sight of her lifeless body. Her once-elegant dress was now stained with blood and other bodily fluids. A pool of crimson liquid spread out around her head, slowly seeping into the plush carpet. "I guess it's time to clean up this mess."

I stripped the bed, tossing the sheets and blankets into a laundry hamper. I carefully gathered up her clothes and placed them in a plastic bag.

I glanced at the clock on the bedside table. It was almost four in the morning. I had to be out of here before anyone woke up. I quickly gathered up my own clothes and belongings, making sure to leave no trace of my presence behind. I jumped out of the window and dropped to the ground. I got in my car and drove into the night. The wind pushing against my head.

"Isidor do you copy?"

"Yes loud and clear, what do you need?"

"Target is neutralized, the body has been disposed of, and the crime scene has been cleaned up. On my way to the base now." I spoke into the phone.

"Thanks, but that is all for today, go home and get some sleep."

Time seemed to slip out of my grasps. Nights turned into days and days turned into weeks, in no time it had been four months. The missions were mostly the same, take out this person, protect that person, nothing that exciting. I was becoming better friends with Isidor. We would go out for drinks after a long day and just talk about anything. It helped me forget about the things I had done in the past.

One day I got a call from Isidor.

"There was something Rio needed to talk to you about. I'll put you on a private line with him. Stand by." Sound of keys clicking and then a new voice came on the line.

"Teo, the target taken care of?"

"Affirmative."

"Good, I need you to make a stop before you go back to base."

I paused for a moment, wondering what Vittorio could possibly need me to do now. "Alright, what is it?"

"There's a secure package waiting for you at the back entrance of the club. It's labeled with your codename and today's date. The code name is one that the gift giver gave you. The guns of Kroviask. Isidor will give you the rest of the information buts that's not what I wanted to warn you about. The package has another organization that has their eyes on it. Eliz used to work there. She was the leaders girl then she slit his throat and took the gang over. Got board and she left it. Watch out, there was a kid that she looked trained and now he's the leader and I think you know how they treat their toys.

"Roger that, Rio."

"One last thing, the package isn't guarded, it's in the club." The call switched to Isidor.

"Sending you the corrodents now, do me a favor and get in the way of bullets and die." He joked.

"I have to go, Melina is going to get herself killed for her carelessness. Aram wants me to keep her alive but she just angered a group of enemy mafiosos."

"Good luck with her."

"I'll need it." His voice disappeared and an address popped on my car's screen. It was a club i had gone to before. I pulled up to an alley and changed my clothes into a fresh pair of black pants, white dress shirt and five necklaces on my neck, two gold and three silver.

I walked into the club, it was full of people, music, lights. I scanned the area, looking for a man with a silver earring in his left ear. I found him sitting at a table, three women on either side. He looked up at me, nodding his head.

I walked over to the table, sitting down across from him. He smiled, "Teo, it's been a while. How have you been?"

"Good, and you?" I replied, trying to sound casual.

"Can't complain. Your reputation precedes you. You've done quite a job cleaning up the mess we had here. Hey, where was that girl you always had with you, Eliz?"

"You haven't heard?"

"You know damn well I don't watch the news."

"She died. We killed every FBI agent at the local FBI office. Almost got away but got shot and let me get away but killed herself."

"That's too bad." He took a sip of his drink. "So, what can I do for you, Teo?"

"I'm just here on a mission but I wanted to tell you about Eliz's death. I know that you were friends."

"Are you here to get the package?"

"Ya, they said that you wanted it."

"I'm guessing that you didn't tell them that we were old friends."

"No, I didn't." I smiled and ordered a glass of vodka.

We talked for a while, catching up on old times. He seemed genuinely surprised that I hadn't replaced Eliz in my life. "You know you could pull a ton of hoes with that handsome face right?"

"Eh, I dont know, I guess I'm not in the mood to be fucking some dumb hoe who falls for looks." I told him about some of the jobs I had been on and he listened intently, nodding his head. There was an undercurrent of tension in the air, but we both tried to maintain the facade of being just two old friends catching up.

After a while, I excused myself to go to the bathroom. While I was gone, I checked my phone for any updates from Isidor. There was a message waiting for me: "The package is in the club's security office. Good luck."

I made my way through the club, weaving between the tables and avoiding the watchful eyes of the security cameras. The security office was located at the back of the club, near the employee entrance. I could hear the sound of music and laughter fading away as I approached.

The security office was small and dimly lit, with a single computer terminal and a desk stacked with files and paperwork. I could see a man sitting at the computer, his back to me. He appeared to be young, perhaps even a teenager, but something about his demeanor suggested otherwise. His movements were confident and professional, and there was an air of authority that came with being the leader of a criminal organization. I shot him in the back of the head.

The room was soundproof and there was no way the boy would hear the gunshot. I grabbed the package and headed back to the club floor. I had to get out of there fast before anyone noticed what had happened. As I made my way through the crowd, I felt a hand on my waist. I turned around and it was a girl with long black hair and green eyes. She was wearing a red dress that clung to her curves.

"I've never seen you before, handsome."

I had no time to deal with a sex worker, I had to get out of there.

"I'm sorry, I'm on a mission. I can't stay."

She giggled and leaned closer to me. "Oh, really? What kind of mission?" Her breath tickled my ear.

I pushed her off and drew a gun to her chin. "Get out of here, now. And I mean it this time." She stumbled backwards, her eyes wide with fear. I couldn't believe I was wasting time with this. I had to get to the exit.

The crowd seemed to part like water as I made my way through, the gun in my hand making everyone step aside. I rolled my eyes at the dramatic effect it had, but it was the only way to make sure no one got in my way. As I approached the exit, I could feel the cool night air hit my face, a welcome relief from the stifling heat of the club. I ducked out of the club and got in my car.
