I pulled out my phone and called Aram. Chuuya couldn't do this by himself. I didn't want him to get hurt or worse. "Aram?" I whispered.

"Yes?" His voice came back, barely audible over the music.

"Chuuya and Thaïs are in trouble, we need your help."

"Where are you?" His voice was urgent. I sent him the address. "The party- Be there in two." Chuuya had disappeared with Vi. I knew he was going to kill me if he found out I called Aram.

I waited for Aram, my heart pounding in my chest. I knew we didn't have much time. The guards were growing suspicious, their eyes roving over the shadows. I couldn't let them see Aram.

Aram finally arrived, his long black coat with a red scarf flowing behind him. His pale face was emotionless. He had two guns in his hands. He nodded at me and motioned for me to follow him. We crept through the warehouse, avoiding the guards as best we could. I felt a surge of relief when I saw Chuuya climbing over a crate, making his way towards Thaïs. He noticed me and Aram and froze. His eyes grew wide and a bullet from behind him shot into his chest. He fell to the ground.

We both ducked for cover as the guards swarmed towards us. They were fast, professional killers. I didn't stand a chance against them. But Aram, Aram was something else entirely. He moved like a ghost, silent and deadly. He took down guard after guard with ease, never breaking his calm demeanor.

I watched in awe as he made his way towards Chuuya and Thaïs. He crouched low, his guns trained on the guards who were surrounding them. He shot the chain that held the cage to the ceiling. The cage fell to the ground , and Thaïs tumbled out, still unconscious. Aram gestured for me to help her. He jumped up and knelt next to Chuuya. Blood was pooling around him. One of his gold earrings was torn out of his ear. He tightened and stood up without saying a word. I had never seen him like this . His face was a mask of pure rage. He shot another guard who was about to attack us from behind. He took out two knives and threw them at the remaining guards. They hit their targets, but one of the guards managed to dodge. He came at us with a knife. Aram quickly sidestepped and shot him. Aram didn't speak just lifted Chuuya up and carried him out of the warehouse. Thaïs and I followed close behind. Once we were outside, Aram stopped and put Chuuya down gently. He took off his black coat and wrapped it around Chuuya's shoulders.

He placed him into his car and drove off. I placed Thaïs in my car and ran back in to find Isidor.

He had been shot in the stomach and was lying on the ground. His breath was ragged, his brown hair matted with blood. I tried to lift him up, but he was too heavy. I could hear sirens in the distance. I didn't know what to do. I pulled out my gun and pointed it at one last person who was still standing. He was the boss. He had a look of disbelief on his face.

"You have no idea what you've done," I glared at him, "Help me or I will shoot you dead."

He nodded and helped me lift Isidor into the car. The sirens grew louder as I raced back to the Mafia infirmary. I pushed the car to go faster. Rain started pouring down as we reached the infirmary. I called to five nurses. "Two executives have been injured. Come help them now!"

The nurses hurried to the car and carefully lifted Isidor out. They took him inside and laid him on a gurney. They began to work on him immediately, trying to stop the bleeding and stabilize his condition. Five more doctors brought Thaïs in on another gurney. They laid her down and started examining her as well. One doctor ran up to me, "You need to lay down! Your arm!" I looked down and realized that I had been shot too. I hadn't even felt it. I felt myself growing weak and I fell to the floor. The doctor helped me up and laid me on a gurney next to Thaïs. I closed my eyes, feeling the warmth and calmness of the infirmary surrounding me.
