Solana had just recently transferred from LSU to Uconn in hopes of finding more opportunities in biology. Transferring with her best friends were just a plus.

Sophomore year for her at LSU was pretty rough with little to no help from her surrounding peers. She wasn't failing but the work just wasn't cutting it. So she was praying that junior year at a brand new school would be 10x better. A fresh start, you know?

Solana walked into her new dorm shared with her childhood best friend Wenipher. The pair met on the first day of kindergarten at the ripe age of six years old, bonding instantly. It was only a matter of time before they were glued at the hip to one another. When you seen Solana, you seen Wenipher. When you seen Wenipher, you for sure seen Solana.

"Oh my god, I am drained asf" Solana sighed out loudly speaking to her bestfriend or so she thought. Entering the room she seen Wenipher already faced down into the pillow snoring loud as hell, making her roll her eyes.

"Are you serious" she questioned aloud laughing and taking a photo of the girl in the vulnerable state, only to show her later.

Solana plopped down on her bed deciding to lay down and watch tiktok for atleast the next few hours. She needed a break so unpacking could wait.

Suddenly she heard the turning of a key meaning that someone was entering the shared dorm. "Who tf..." she thought before getting up swiftly and walking towards the door on high alert.

Solana watched as a tall white girl with blonde hair and blue eyes entered the dorm. Not gonna lie, the girl was fine. Like fine fine. Solana instantly shook away the thought remembering the problem at hand. "Um..who are you?" Solana said folding her arms and furrowing her brows.

"Uh, this is my dorm. Who are you?" the blonde replied.

Solana stood there in confusion. She remembered for sure that this was her and her best friend's dorm. Getting the key only a few hours prior to the incident.

"I'm Solana and this is the dorm that I was assigned" she said allowing her tone to get a bit smart.

"My bad ma, imma take this up with admin cause I was pretty sure my teammate and I were sharing this dorm" the blonde said calmly before leaving the room and taking the key with her.

Solana locked the door behind her. The young girl turned around with a bit of a smirk walking back towards her room repeatedly thinking of the nickname given to her by the blonde.

Two hours later:

Wenipher had finally awoken, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. "Oh shit. NO NO NO" raising her voice a bit more after each "no."

"What? What's wrong?" Solana said with a bit of panic in her voice, immediately sitting up. She studied Wenipher's face and her surroundings. Ultimately bursting out into laughter after seeing what the girl infront of her had done.

Wenipher's cluster lashes were on the pillow staring right back at her. Her left eye was a bit swollen and red from the mixture of the chemicals of the glue and her tears. "I told you to stop sleeping like that" Solana said laughing hysterically. It wasn't even that funny but Solana's humor was very broken.

"I'm about to become an extensions girly because this is bout to make me end it all fr" Wenipher said giggling a bit but in reality she was deadass.

The laughter died down and it left the two girls to sit in their thoughts trying to find something else to talk about.

"Are you still trying out for the Uconn dance team?" Wenipher said just out of curiosity. Solana sighed at the question not really knowing the answer.

"I don't know. I love dance but taking on the duties and task that come with it AND trying to graduate..i just don't know if i can balance it out" the girl said contemplating whether taking the opportunity was worth it or not.

"I mean, i'm sure you can do it. You have a passion for dance, always have and plus you act like you've gotten lower than a B- in a class and you haven't. You'll be fine. I think you should just take the extra step. Make a schedule everyday or something that'll help you to keep track of your work so that you can 'balance' the two" Wenipher said trying her best to give her best friend the push to do what she loves.

"I'll think about it" Solana said deciding on actually taking her best friend's advice for once.

"Oh i forgot to tell you. Giano wants to come over...like right now" Wenipher said. Solana smiled a bit thinking about her favorite boy best friend.

"Good!! I've missed G so much." the girl said with obvious anticipation and excitement coursing through her body. Suddenly a knock was heard at the door.
