It was the 31 of December today, which meant that after tonight it would be the start of a new year. Solana had many plans for what she wanted to do in the next upcoming months. Changing her ways for the better and maybe even rekindling old relationships. On the other hand Paige didn't have anything planned out, just wishing that the new year would bring great opportunities and healthy relationships.
Solana's first step of her new year's resolution was bringing back her youtube channel. The girl had a total of 886K subscribers on her youtube as of now. She could've possibly reached 1 million before the year ended but she went on a 6 month hiatus.
The responsibility of a social media influencer was becoming too much for her. Starting her channel so young and making videos everyday with very few breaks made her feel drained. She decided to take a break from social media as a whole although her fans constantly wished she'd return. The break was originally only a month but then it got longer and longer and it was honestly very good for her mental and school.
"I don't even know where to start this" Solana said looking at the camera recording. "Um...i've missed you guys that's for sure. Most of you already know why I left for...how long?" Solana asked herself before going on her phone and checking her channel to see her last upload.
"Six months...wow" Solana said laughing a bit, continuing to get ready as she explained more.
She eventually explained that her and the girls were going to be attending a party hosted by Ja Morant that the Uconn basketball teams were invited to. This basically meant that there were going to be a lot of major league sports players that were attending. Solana felt a bit of excitement about the party, mostly because she was going to be wearing something out of her comfort zone.
She decided on a lacey dress that covered just below her butt. It was risky but it was cute. Pairing it with some black red-bottom heels and a red lip.
Paige entered the hotel room, Solana still getting ready for the camera. The blonde was already dressed and ready to go, moving to grab the girl by her waist and insert her head into the crook of her neck. Solana instantly smiling at the girl before grabbing her camera and putting it up to their faces.
"PP say hi" Solana said waiting for the girl to say hi. "Hi...what is this? a vlog?" Paige asked the girl. "No a grwm" Solana replied before Paige took the camera. "Wassup yall it's Paige here back with another BANGERRRR" Paige stated yelling a bit.
"Unt Unt, gimme my camera" Solana said mugging before laughing a little. Paige laughed handing the girl her camera before Solana went back to talking to the vlog.
"So the party starts at...what? 9?" Solana asked the blonde who was sitting on the edge of the bed on her phone. "Yeah" Paige responded. "Yeah so right now it's 9:00 and Paige wants to be on time but who goes to a party early so really we're leaving at 9:15 and we'll make it at around 9:30" Solana explained to the camera.
"Talking to a camera after so long feels so weird you guys" Solana said with a slight pout. "I've really just been doing whatever these past few months but I now have a schedule planned. I will be posting on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. So I can get out a lot of content that I missed while also spending time away from the camera" Solana stated sighing a bit because talking this much was really taking her breath away.
"Okay, we're gonna catch yall later, she needs to breathe" Paige said before taking the camera. "How I turn it off?" Paige said trying to find the off button before Solana turned the camera off for her.
"How you feel ma?" Paige asked the girl who seemed a bit off. "I'm okay" Solana replied although she did not feel okay. "No you're not. What's wrong?" Paige asked again knowing something was definitely wrong. "I'll tell you later" Solana stated before getting up, and grabbing her things to leave.
Although Paige wanted to know what was wrong then and there she accepted Solana's wishes. The two headed to Paige's car in the hotel parking lot to get to the party.

Both Paige and Solana were in their own worlds and in different places across the party. Talking and vibing with other people but making sure to glance over once or twice at each other.
Solana was on her third shot of the night, due to the simple fact that the girls were constantly being brought out drinks by a tall darkskin dreadhead. The guy kept casually flirting with Solana everytime he brought out shots. Bringing out shot after shot just to have another conversation with her.
"Okay, he keeps coming over here. Is he bothering you?" Wenipher asked knowing that something was up. "No" Solana replied smirking a bit as she locked eyes with Paige across the party.
"Alright, but let me know if he tries anything because I will happily call blondie over here" Wenipher says smiling at her bestfriend who was head over heels for the girl she was speaking of. "Mhm" Solana replied biting her lip a little at the thought of Paige getting protective of her.
The guy who was working the party came over to Solana for about the fifth time that night, this time with no drinks. "You look gorgeous tonight. You came here with anyone?" the man said smiling brightly. Solana laughed a bit before replying "Thank you."
"Friendly ass" Wenipher said under her breath before shaking her head at her friend.
"You came here with anyone?" the guy asked again. Solana was purposely ignoring the question the first time, deciding on stating "no" since she really didn't want anyone in her business, especially not a stranger.
"Oh, so what's a pretty lady like you doing at this party alone?" the guy questioned. "Um..i'm here with my friends" Solana said feeling a little unease about the whole situation. Deciding on exiting the conversation.
She turned around mumbling the words to the song "turn on the lights - by Future" as it was playing. She felt a tap on her shoulder, turning around only to see the guy still standing there. "What's your name?" he asked. Solana just smiled and nodded. He laughed a bit before repeating himself. "I said what is your name?" he asked again. "Oh" Solana replied still not giving him what he wanted.
He made a weird face before hearing "body party - by Ciara" begin to play. "Dance on me" he said before grabbing Solana by her arm to bring her to the dance floor. Solana yanked her arm back before feeling someone else grab her by her waist. "What the fuck are you doing?" Paige asked the guy.
"My bad. Who you?" he asked Paige. Solana just mugged him a little before he put his hands up in defense and just walked away.
"You alright?" Paige asked the girl. Solana shook her head yes before asking "can we go to the restroom?" Paige nodded her head and brought the girl to the nearest restroom.
Solana pulled her panties down, hovering over the toilet before using the restroom. Paige stared at her the whole time before hearing someone say something about the countdown behind the door. She checked her watch seeing that it was 11:53 pm.
