Solana Monai Reed | 21 Location: Uconn Campus
It had been about two weeks since new years. Solana was currently flat ironing her hair, Paige laying in her bed.
"Wassup" Paige said holding up her phone indicating that she was on facetime. "Paige" Azzi said on the other line. "Azzi" Paige said gesturing her hand for the girl to spit out whatever she had to say.
"Do you remember my cousin, Casey?" Azzi questioned. Paige's eyes instantly lit up, Solana watching her from the mirror.
"Yeah, what about her?" Paige asked looking intrigued almost. "Well she's coming to visit the campus, she's trying to weigh out her options to see whether or not she wants to attend Uconn" Azzi informed the girl.
"Wait really??" Paige said moving up in the bed mouth slightly open. "Yeah and I won't be around the day that she gets here because I have an interview so would you mind showing her around please?" Azzi asked.
Paige looked up at Solana who was already looking back at her. She hesitated a little before complying and letting her bestfriend know that she would take on the task. The girls soon hanging up.
"Who's Casey?" Solana asked turning around still flat ironing her hair. "Azzi's cousin. She's a childhood friend basically" the blonde replied suddenly caught up in whatever that was on her phone.
Solana shook her head a little knowing that Paige was lying. Or maybe she wasn't, she just wasn't tell her the full truth.
"So when are you showing her around?" Solana questioned curiously. "Friday" Paige responded. Solana felt her heart sink a little, remembering that her and Paige had plans for lunch on Friday.
It wasn't like lunch on Friday was something new, the girls did it every week and they both always seemed to looked forward to it. The fact that Paige had forgotten all about it and decided to do something else made Solana feel hurt. She wouldn't show it though, if Paige didn't remember then it was on her.
"I gotta go to practice. Imma see you later" Paige said getting up out of Solana's bed before grabbing her things. "Okay" Solana turned around watching as Paige walked out the dorm.
Solana felt like she was going to be sick. Paige left without hugging her or kissing her and she didn't even really acknowledge Solana before she left. Something was up and Solana was worried.

"Why did Raymond get ran over" Jesslyn informed the girls, laughing. "Jess. You know you wrong as fuck" Wenipher said also laughing.
"Raymond from 12th grade, Raymond?" Solana asked eating a french fry. "Yup. He was into some shit with this boy he was messing with and the boy babymomma ran his ass over" Jesslyn added laughing even harder. "You going straight to hell" Solana said chuckling a little.
"Who?" Jesslyn asked still laughing. "You" Solana replied shaking her head. "Lemme pray" Jesslyn said halting her laughter, bowing her head and saying a prayer.
"You are sick" Wenipher said covering her mouth. "Both of y'all" Solana stated earning a 'you talking?' look from Wenipher. "Yes ma'am, I am" Solana said moving her head and rolling her eyes. "Imma let you have it" Wenipher said not in the mood.
"Oh okay" Solana replied causing Wenipher to mug her, Solana sticking out her tongue taunting her. The girls continued to talk about whatever, Solana's mind constantly thinking about what happened yesterday with Paige.
She had yet to receive any texts or calls from her girlfriend and it made her sad. Not because she couldn't be away from the girl for a few hours but due to the fact that Paige didn't even shoot her a text or anything indicating that she was wondering what the girl was doing. It made her feel some type of way.
Ever since Azzi called about whoever tf Casey was, Solana and Paige have been distant. She was scared for her relationship knowing it took a lot to even let Paige in and the fact that her girlfriend was now being weird made her feel uncomfortable.

was the last message on the thread. Still no answer after 12 hours of being on delivered. Solana wasn't someone to force you to speak, if you didn't want to speak to her she wouldn't force you to.
Seeing that Paige had completely ignored her message after finding out that she posted on her story made Solana want to turn back into her old ways, show up to the girl's dorm and curse her ass out. But if it was just a need of space Solana would understand seeing that the girls have been under eachother at all times for the past two weeks.
"You okay?" Wenipher asked noticing Solana's low energy. "Yeah i'm okay, social battery is just drained" Solana lied. "You ready to go?" Jesslyn asked. "Mhm" Solana replied messing with her fingernails.
"Excuse me, can we get the check?" Wenipher asked the waitress.

It was a few hours later and everyone was now on a group call. The call consisted of Solana, Wenipher, KK, Ice, Aubrey, Azzi, and Q. Paige was currently nowhere to be found.
"Solana stop playing, you know I can dance" Aubrey said setting up her phone to do the dougie. "See I never said you couldn't, all I said was that you ain't fucking with me in dancing" Solana said shrugging her shoulders.
"Solana" KK said over the girls yelling on the phone. "Yes?" Solana responded. "Since you think you can dance so well, Imma put on a song and you gotta hit it" KK said getting her ipad to put on a song.
"New Flame - by Chris Brown" began to play through the phone causing everyone to laugh. "Alright bet" Solana said getting up and setting up the camera.
When the beat dropped she began to break dance, causing everyone to begin laughing hysterically. "Oh shit no" Aubrey said wheezing. "Yeah baby gon ahead and sit down" Ice said shaking her head.
"Yall not ready for me, I understand" Solana said getting closer to the camera. "No you not ready for the beat" Wenipher said covering her mouth from the laughter.
"Haterssss" Solana said loudly which caused the girls to laugh even more. Everyone was too caught up in the moment to realize that Paige had joined the call, her eyebrows furrowed as she watched everyone in conversation.
"Who is that" KK said looking at her camera weirdly. "KK I don't play that shit with you, what you talking about?" Wenipher said looking at the camera. "Oh it's Paige" KK said laughing. The other girls began laughing too, Solana instantly going silent.
Her message was still on delivered and it was even more painful to see that her "girlfriend" was on the other end of the call doing absolutely nothing important.
"Where you been P?" KK asked the blonde. There was no response, Paige just sucked her teeth and slid her hand down her face. "Um..girl are you still there?" KK said confused. "Yeah i'm here. Um..I was handling business" Paige replied.
