Solana Monai Reed | 21 Location: Brunch
The girls met up at a brunch spot near campus under KK's request. Wanting to spend time with her teammates and her new friends. But also lowkey just wanting to see Wenipher.
Solana hooked the two up after the fun night on live. Ever since then the girls were chatting and facetiming every part of the day when they weren't busy.
"Hi my name is Amber and i'll be taking you guys to your table, follow me" the waitress stated before everyone got up and followed her to the reserved table.
Solana sat in the middle on the left side of the table closest to the window. Paige hurried over without making it too obvious and sat next to her. Wenipher on the opposite side of Solana and Jesslyn sitting next to her.
"This place is really cute, I need someone to take my pictures for sure" Solana stated loving the scenery of the restaurant.
"I can take em" Paige responded. The two girls stared at each other for a moment before Solana agreed and thanked her.
Solana remembered bits and pieces of what happened three weeks ago, wondering if Paige did too but deciding not to bring it up. The tension was thick the whole time. Many sudden glances, stares, light brushes against each other, and heated exchanges. The two girls emotions were everywhere to say the least.
"So Solana, did you make the dance team?" Nika asked sitting across from her. Solana smiled at the thought that the brunette remembered such a detail. "Yes I did" Solana stated proudly.
Paige's eyes grew a bit wide, curious to know more about the girl. "You dance" Paige asked, mentally slapping herself for asking a question with an obvious answer.
"Yup, probably not for long though" Solana said before Paige's brows furrowed. "What? Why?" Paige asked.
Solana hated this question but she'd of course she'd answer it for Paige. "I just don't want the work load and dance to get the best of me, you know? Trying to graduate with good grades is very stressful and I don't really know how i'll be able to juggle an extracurricular."
Paige sighed, understanding the girl but wishing Solana would do what she loved instead stressing herself out about what would make her look good to nursing schools.
Everyone eventually got their food and drinks brought out to them. Solana being the big back she is immediately decided she wanted to taste test what Weni and Jess ordered.
Her plate now looking like one from a buffet. Everything was so appetizing to her. After taste testing everything she was given she looked over to Paige's plate. The blonde had chicken and pancakes with powdered sugar and fruit. It looked so good, Solana needed to try it now.
The blonde catching her staring chuckled a bit, still chewing her food. "You want some?" Paige asked after swallowing with a small smirk on her face.
Solana nodded her head yes before Paige cut a piece of the pancake putting a strawberry on top and moved the fork towards the girl's mouth. Solana moved closer, watching the blonde intently as she ate the food off the fork.
Nika and Wenipher shared a look with each other at the scene before them. Knowing there was definitely something going on between the girls.
"Gir- Am I the only one that just seen that?" Jesslyn asked trying to make sure she wasn't hallucinating. "Nope, I seen it too" Wenipher responded looking at the two girls next to her.
Solana rolled her eyes before smiling without teeth at her best friends' remarks about what just happened.
