Charlotte's POV:
It's the festival night, and we are heading to the village's function hall for the after party. Just to dance and drink and have fun. Hopefully, I will see p'Fa even just from a distance.
But I still feel uneasy about what I do this morning on the parade. I don't expect that she could notice me because of the crowd that is cheering for her and plus the loud drums and laire of the marching band.

"But she did. She sees me!" I thought to myself.

"Cha! Are you alright? You seem so bothered since this morning." Heidi asked me.

"Do you think she recognized me?" I blunt out the question even if they don't have an idea of what I'm thinking or talking about.

"Huh? Who?" Marima asked, and Heide is looking at me with confused eyes too.

"Huh? Nothing! Let's go?" I asked them and walked ahead of them to escape the conversation. It's not that I don't trust them, and I can't tell them my past. It's just that I don't want to bring it out anymore because it will just ruin the mood. The two of them followed me to the hall.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
"Cha, come. let's dance!" Heidi and Marima invited me to the dance floor. They seat up tables around the hall and at the center is for the dance floor.
The big room was darkend, and the only light you see is from the party lights that are seat up in each corner of the hall and plus the glitter ball hunging in the center of the big room.

"Just go ahead. I think I need more drinks! I'll just follow you guys." I told them as I nodded to give them an assurance that I would be alright. They just nodded at me and headed to the dance floor.
I followed them with my eyes and looked around the people who were having fun on the dance floor. When I saw p'fa on the dance floor with her new friends, Tina, Nudee, and Chumpo. It looks like she is having the time of her life. She is dancing closely with Chumpo, with her hands on her waist and Chumpo's and on her shoulders. I smiled bitterly when I saw that scene.
I decided to go outside and leave the place. I can't watch them like that anymore. It fills like it's suffocating me.
I don't think I'm jealous, but I want to be the one dancing with her and not Chumpo.

"I should be the one dancing with her and not her!" I thought to myself while im walking towards the backyard of the function hall, were ther are benches where you can sit and talk if you have someone to talk to. I sat on the bench near my favorite tree, the tree where I used to play with p'fa when we were kids.

Engfa's POV:
We were here now at the festival's after party. I will not deny that I'm having fun with this gang. They are fun. They already know that I like beautiful girls, so they keep on teasing me with Chumpo. I'm also playing along with them because everyone is so playful. I already love the three of them with Nudee and Tina.

"I need to go to the restroom!" I informed them. I need to make it a little bit louder for them to hear me because of the music.

"What?" Nudee asked, almost shouting because she was not able to understand what I said. I need to reiterate what I've said for them to understand, and they just nod when they get it.
After I went to the restroom, I tour myself in the place. I found a pathway going to the backyard of the hall. I walked outside, and a soft breeze touched my skin.

"There are a lot of changes in this place already." I thought to myself as I observed the surrounding. But I smiled to myself seeing our favorite tree standing still on its place. I took a step closer to it when I noticed someone sitting on the bench under it.

"It's the girl!" I murmured to myself. The girl who called me during the parade this morning. A lot of thoughts come rushing to my head.

"She was looking at me intently, almost crying. She screamed my name the way Charlotte was calling me, and now she is here! She is in my favorite place with Charlotte. But i need to hold back my excitement and not be too sure about it." I talked to myself. I continued walking towards her direction.

"Hmm! Can I seat her?" I clean my throat before talking and pointing on the space beside her. She slowly looked up, and I could see that she was surprised seeing me there. Maybe I just scared her.

"Yes, sure!" And she move to give me space to seat though the bench is big for the two of us. It was an acuward silence after.

"Hmm! Why are you here, by the way, khun Fa?" I looked at her with a question mark on my face.

"I mean, you should be at the party. You are the star of the night!" She explains when she realized my confusion. But I don't mean that way. It's not how she called me this morning during the parade. You are confusing me too much now. If you are Charlotte, please tell me directly and stop running around the bushes. I tool a seep of the drink I get before going out.

"I'll go back inside in a while, I just miss these places." I told her, and she just nodded. It gives me a feeling of wanting to talk a little bit more.

"Did you know that I used to play her before with an old friend. And this tree, we always have a contest of who can climb first. This bench was not here before, so the only place we can sit is on the grass or on the top of its brunches." I told her, remembering those sweet and happy moments. She is intently listening to me.

"So you have good memories here in our village before?" She asks, more on a declarative one. I nodded in agreement to her statement, and I chuckled, remembering those memories.

"Why? Is there something funny with my question?" I can feel a little bit of annoyance in her question that makes me smile a more.

"No, it's not that! I just remember that kid. Ugh! I missed her so much!" I sigh in loneliness. I noticed her do the same. It makes me feel guilty, I might ruin her solitude.

"I might talk somuch, maybe I need to go back inside." I told her, getting up from the bench. She nodded at me in response, and I waved at her goodbye.
