They say scars are beautiful,
But trust me, they aren't.
On the heart which is dead,
And on the skin which is burnt,
Are the scars which remind one;
Of the painful past,
And sleepless nights,
Those engravings of blade on the thighs.
Scars which are invisible,
Throb the most,
Scars of burning touch, all over the body,
Scars on heart, of hurtful talks,
Scars which may fade,
But memories won't.
They say scars heal with time,
But trust me they don't.
