Chapter 13 :

"Oh my god. My baby. God this can't be

true. Why God? Why take her from

me?" Shantel cries.

I hug her. Tay starts crying. Jay starts

crying. We were all crying. It's crazy

how she was taken away so quick.

"God give my baby back. God please

give her back." Shantel falls to the

floor.

I fell with her. Jay held Tay.

"WHY? WHY GOD. IS IT CAUSE IM

NOT DOIN THE RIGHT THING." Tay

yells and punches the wall.

"Tay calm down. Please baby it's gone

be okay." I told him. Wiping tears.

"Would you all like to see her one last

time?" The doctor asked.

"I can't see my baby like that." Shantel

walked out the emergency door crying.

"Tay I think it would be good for you." I

said.

"Nah. Ion wanna see my shorty like

that." He said not trynna cry.

Tay walked out the emergency door too

and Jay and I were left on the floor. He

was comforting me. I was crying. My

sister in law and my niece were gone.

"She didn't even get to live to hear our

news." I told Jay.

He wiped tears from my eyes and

helped me off the floor.

"I know baby. I know." He said.

"I'm sorry for your loss." The doctor

said.

"Thankyou . So what do we do?" I

asked.

"Her body will be transferred and you

all will be able to dress her up in a

couple days for her funeral." The

doctor said.

I looked at his tag. "Thankyou Doctor

Murphy." I said.

"We have great counselor programs for

lost loved ones if either of you want to

talk." He said.

"Ok." I replied.

Jay and I walked out of the hospital

and got in the car.

"I guess Tay must've found himself a

ride." I said.

"Yeah." Jay said.

I let my seat all the way down and layed

back and went to sleep.

{ "I told you I was gonna see you

again." My momma said.

"Momma! I missed you so much." I ran

and hugged her.

"Oh baby I missed you too. I been

waiting for you to come see me." She

said.

I started crying. "Mommy I can't do

this by myself. I can't. I need you. Tay

lost his girlfriend and his baby. And I'm

pregnant."

"Girl you been doing fine without me.

Everything will be okay. I will always

look over you & Tay." She said.

"Whenever you need me, I'm here. You

won't see me, but I'm here. I've been

watching over you two. Give Tay my

love. I love you both to pieces." She

starts walking away.

"Momma where you going?" I called

her.

"I have to go baby. Stay strong." She

said. }

"BABY, WAKE UP!" Jay yells.

"Damn Jay you all in my ear." I said.

"We at home now. But you was crying

in yo sleep." He said.

"It's crazy, I had this dream about my

momma. I just wanna see her again. I

need her here with me. Tay needs his

momma." I said.

Jay got out the car and opened my door

and helped me out.

"You don't need to be stressing." He

said.

"This is too much for me. No one

understands. I've only been "mom" for

2 years. Hell, not even doing a good

job. Tay sells drugs. I use to sell my

body. He got someone pregnant. If it

wasn't for you I woulda still been in the

strip club. I'm tired Jay. I'm tired of

life. I want to be with my momma. I

wanna feel her hugs and see her smile."

I said.

"So what? You trynna kill yoself now?"

He asked.

I walked in the house and got in the

bed. I was irritated. I was hurt. I was

lost.

"God, why me?" I thought. I fell asleep.
