Shun POV

I wake up in my bed. I was a little bit dizzy. I sat up and scratch my arms. I looked around. Everything was normal.

I flap my wings to wake them up. I get up and went downstairs. I heard the oven's "your food is done" beep. The smell of the grilled cheese lead me to the living room. Amaya was laying on the couch and watched some brainless cartoon.

"Oh c'mon! Why are you let her kill her braincells with this, Tosh" I hate cartoons, thanks to the idiots who ruined them.

"cause there's no adds and she won't get scared! Or do you want her to watch some horror or 18+ stuff?"

"fair point. If my nose doesn't lies, the dinner will be grilled cheese, right?"

"correct." He brought a bowl of delicious grilled cheese with French fries, and put them onto the coffee table.

Amaya's eyes lit up a little bit. She stared at the bowl of grilled cheese. She sat up and didn't take her eyes of them.

"looks like someone is hungry." I said playfully

She didn't listen just stared at the food.

"you can take one, Dodo."
Toshiro said while sitting down next to Amaya.

She kept staring at them for a while. Suddenly she pulled her legs up to her chest and looked down. She was shaking and I could tell she was scared of something.

"hey.. Dodo.." I started softly "are you okay? What's wrong?.."

She began to cry. My heart break, but I was more cunfused than sad..

"I have an idea.." wispered Toshiro to me. He picked up a cheese and hold it to Amaya, close to her face.

After a few seconds she looked up. Her eyes widden when she saw the food offer. She took it and quickly eat it.

"don't worry... They're yours. Eat as many as you want." said Toshiro while stroke Amaya's back gently.

Amaya didn't hesitate anymore and took one more. Then an other, and one more.

I smiled relieved. I watched her eat. I saw her eyes were still wet. I gently wipe her tears away.

"you don't have to be scared anymore." I hugged her from the side, and covered her with my wings. She hugged me back with a cute smile. ("awwwww") then she continued eating.

I saw on Toshiro's face that his heart is about to melt. It was a very cute scene.

After we finished eating Toshiro went to the kitchen to wash the dishes. I stayed with Amaya.

"wanna sleep, Dodo?" I asked, she seemed a bit tired.

She nod and mumbled "yes"

I smile slightly and pet her head. "Okay.. C'mon, let's go to your room."

I hold out my hand to help her up. She nod and stood up. She immediately grabbed my arm and hugged it tightly. "she's cute. Except when she rips my back off"
