Part 19: I Am Optimus Prime

Riley's POV 

Cade: "Oh what t- Riley." 

I looked back at him seeing him looking down at Izabella and Sqweeks, who were hiding behind some bags. My eyes winded in shock. 

Sqweeks: "Chihuahua." 

Me: "What are you doing here?" 

I asked. She quickly looked at me. 

Izabella: "I don't know. But you said that we were family." 

Me: "We are." 

Cade: "She didn't mean...We got to get her off here now." 

Lennox: "It's too late now." 

Izabella: "It was properly a bad idea." 

Lennox: "Hang on!"

I placed my hand on the comm system pressing the button. 

Me: "Bee how is it going?" 

Bee: "We are okay." 

Hound: "Bogeys dead ahead!" 

Lennox: "Those fighters better distract these enemy ships!" 

Looking outside I saw army planes flying around trying to shoot the Decepticons who were coming at them with their ships.

Soldier: "Sir, bird three just went down!" 

Me: "Dragonstorm protect!" 

The massive shadow flew above us as the Cybetronai dragon began to attack the Decepticon's ships that were coming at us. 

Lennox: "There's our landing zone!" 

He said pointing the way out of the window where we could see the the giant platform. 

Lennox: "Take that big gun out." 

Our plane shook as we hit the hill a little. Suddenly I felt the engines coming off. Viviane let out a scream. 

Lennox: "Hold on, we're going down!" 

Pilot: "I can't hold on!" 

Lennox: "Don't slide us off the ledge!" 

Pilot 2: "Brace, brace, brace!" 

Pilot: "Brace for impact!" 

Our plane hit the giant platform hard but the moment we stopped spinning I removed the seatbelt from around me. 

Lennox: "Out of the bird now!" 

The moment soldiers stepped out they began to shoot at the Decepticons that were trying to get us. I pushed Cade, Izabella, and Viviane on the ground behind the cover and then I began to shoot towards the Decepticons. 

Lennox: "Enemy fighters!" 

Seeing two planes coming at us I created a giant shield around all of us so no bomb could touch us. 

Cade: "Stay close Iza." 

As the two planes failed to bomb us I had to remove the shield so the army could shoot at the enemy. Taking out the smoke bomb Lennox threw towards giving us a chance to move forward. But the moment that I came to the other side my eyes stopped on Megatron. His optics meet mine. He pointed his cannon at me but the moment before his shot could hit me I pushed it away with a shield. The Decepticons around him went into attack. 

I placed my hands together and created a giant shield around them stopping them from moving into our attack. I knew that the shield wasn't going to keep them inside for much longer so we needed to hurry.  I was running close to Lennox keeping my eyes on Cade, Izabella, and Viviane.
