Fell in Love with my Bully

What will it take? : Joo Ha's pov

'He hates me.'

'Sure, he does. I am sure he will never talk to me again.'

'I want to see him.'

'I beat him up so badly and now I am feeling bad.'

'I wanna see him smile.'

'I wanna see him.'

'I wanna protect him.'

'Is it too late?'

I spent that whole night talking to myself. I hated myself. I hated everything.

Next day, Do Yoon was absent. Well, obviously he was. After the first period, I bunked school and went to the hospital. 

Thank god. He was still there. But he was whimpering in his bed. He was trembling, sweating and mumbling continuously.

I found a nurse and asked her why they weren't doing anything.

"He has high fever. Doctor just gave him the injection. He will calm down soon." She said and left.

"Kids these days! Will take drugs and will end up in hospital" She grumbled while leaving.

I went and sat down on the chair that was beside his bed. Soon, he calmed down. And I saw him sleeping peacefully. After few hours, he woke up. He saw me. But his face was expressionless. As if I was invisible. I stayed there until late night. I tried to talk to him many times. But I was ignored.

'It hurts.'

'It hurts like hell.'

'But why am I sad? I deserve it. I have hurt him more.'

I left as the nurse told him to get some sleep. He would be discharged tomorrow. I won't be able to see him if he doesn't come school.

Next day...

I waited for him to come. But he didn't. The first period already started. I was thinking if I should go to his house to check on him. Suddenly, someone opened the door of the class. I heard Mr.Lee saying, "Do Yoon!!! You came?" His name caught my attention. I looked up to see Do Yoon still bandaged on his wrists. He bowed and came to his seat. Again I was ignored. 

But I was happy to see him back.

First period was over, that's when Sehun came to him smirking. He was patting him whispering something in his ear. And the next thing came as a surprise. I found Do Yoon punching Sehun non-stop. Sehun who had never thought Do Yoon could fight back, was shocked and fell down. Do Yoon jumped on top of him and kept punching him. One of the guys went behind him and tried to pull him away from Sehun, but Do Yoon literally started to bite him on his hand.

Sehun already got up by then, but he fall on the ground again as I punched him. I saw Do yoon looking at me with his eyes widened. I smirked. The other guys came running. I fought all of them. I was no superhero. I could take on two guys for sure but when there were this many I was bound to get beaten. But I was not alone. Do Yoon was fragile, but he was fast for sure. He lifted a heavy book from one desk and started to hit whoever he saw coming near him. I heard him laughing. I was getting beaten up by two of the boys at that moment. i literally kicked them off to see Do Yoon jumping on one of the boys and laughing like a maniac. Damn. He was HOT!

The whole class was a mess. We were all taken to the detention room except for Sehun who was sent to the infirmary. 

I looked at Do Yoon. He was ignoring me still now. But it was okay. I was happy. After the final bell rang, I found myself literally getting dragged to this abandoned construction area where we used to bully people. There I saw Do Yoon. Apparently he was dragged too.

Sehun's elder brother came to me and just started to beat me up without any warning. I tried to fight back but nothing could stop him. He was a monster. I was on the ground in less than a minute. I was coughing blood. I looked toward Do Yoon. He was crying. He was trying to run toward me but Sehun was holding him away. 

"I am sorry, Do Yoon-ah. Forgive me for being a coward." I screamed and laughed. I knew I have to save Do Yoon today no matter what it takes.

Sehun's older brother had stopped kicking me. He was screaming something to his boys like "If you disobey me blah blah..." At that moment my eyes went to Jongin who was hiding behind some concrete pillars, he rolled me a steel pipe. And I knew what I had to do. 

The first hit, Sehun's brother fall on the ground.

And, I started to hit whoever came in front of me. So they started to back off. I went toward Do Yoon. Sehun was really shocked. I gestured him to leave Do Yoon. I grabbed Do Yoon's hand. And we started running. Soon Jongin joined us. We ran and ran and ran until it was safe to stop.
