It was... that time of the month again.

That one time a woman experiences the pain of blood and other fluids coming out of her vagina  and her stomach killing itself in a very painful way.

You once read, that the period is supposed to prepare a woman for pregnancy.
But whenever you got your period, you wondered if you'd ever have kids.
Would it be more painful to give birth?
Please not!

The period cramps, weak legs and headaches alone were a pain in the ass!
How would you survive a pregnancy?!

Though, as a revolutionary, you didn't had the time nor the drill to date someone.
Your job was dangerous and you were constantly out on missions to reform the world.
A lover would only get in the way.

Besides, you laid eyes on a man a long time ago.
Sabo.
But the catch was:
You two never were on a mission together. Dragon always sent Koala with him and you usually had to deal with Ivankov or someone else.

The only time you and Sabo interacted, was when the Revolutionary Army celebrated something.
When you two sat together and shared some alcohol, talking about all kinds of stuff.

A sharp pain flashed through your stomach and you instantly covered it with your hand, making your thoughts come to an abrupt end.

How was a hand supposed to protect you from the pain inside of your body?!

After it calmed down, you opened the drawers, searching for some painkillers in hope to reduce the pain. You knew that the infirmary had some things for the female revolutionaries, but you weren't sure where they were.

„Y/N?"
You turned around with scared eyes.
Out of all people... the boy you were just thinking about, caught you off guard.

„Sabo? What are you doing here? It's in the middle of the night!"
„I could ask you the same. You're the one who's sneaking around the base. What are you even doing here?"
„I need some medicine."
„Why? Are you hurt somewhere?! Did you get injured on a mission?!"

"What? No of course not! I just have... a tummy ache."
„A tummy ache?"
„A tummy ache."
„From what? Did you eat something bad? Did you get into a fight on your last mission? What if you have internal bleeding?!"
„For gods sake Sabo! I don't have anything serious! It's completely normal."

He looked at you confused.
Is he dumb?
You thought he was a smart guy.
How can he not realize that it could be your period?

„What do you mean it's normal?"

You cocked an eyebrow. He really wasn't that smart.
„Well, once a month every woman experiences it. Your stomach hurts and blood comes out of your vagina. Some women get away easy, others get incredibly tired and practically sick."

Sabo blushed and looked away, „Oh... that time of the month..."
You giggled weakly. He looked so cute when he was blushing. You just wanted to pinch his
cheeks.

„Yeah. I need some painkillers and then I'll go back to sleep, I promise."
Sabo looked at you again. His ears were still as red as a tomato, „Can I help you with anything?"

You stopped in your tracks. With what could he help you?
„I mean if you're not busy."
„Oh no I'm not. Also I wanna help you."
„Alright. The package should say painkillers. It's white with some blue stripes."
„Got it."
