You didn't exactly plan out what you'd do once you managed to escape from that man's grasp; you had nowhere to go from this point forward. Well, nowhere except your deceased family's home. Vivid memories of them flashed through your mind, dispersing as quickly as they came up. The thought of having to look at their decomposing corpses made you feel sick to the stomach. An odd feeling of dread swirled around in your gut, taunting you as you gazed out at the small, familiar hut.

Fortunately for you, it seems like the townsfolk people cleaned up the area after the attack that night. Beside the house was a small pit, and in that small pit were graves. There were five graves- wait five? You counted each one, and you got the same number. Five. Last time you remembered, there were seven(not including you)members in the family. You felt hopeful; two of them must've survived. And wherever they are now, you wished them the best of luck on their journey. Maybe on day...

One day...

You'd see them again. You couldn't help but smile at the thought.

"Thank you once again! Have a wonderful day miss!" The dark haired woman smiled and waved goodbye, carefully holding the piece of jewelry you sold to her. Counting up the amount of yen you'd earn in a week; 25 000. Seems like all those heavy and tedious jewels you wore back at home really came in handy. "Counting the amount I earned before the incident.." You murmured to yourself, clicking you fingers. "That would be..38 000." 38 000 yen, that should be enough, right?

"..." Well, maybe not enough to buy a house, but maybe just enough to buy your everyday things- then perhaps you could search for anyone in need of housekeeping. Everything was finally falling into place, and you couldn't help but hum your favorite song while you made your way back home; well, your old home. Because now, you're looking for a new one.

'"Mother?" The small (h/c) haired boy called out to to the petite woman by the door, her backside facing him. A confused expression crossed the young boy's face. "What're you-..where, are you going?" The woman turned around, albeit reluctantly; a soft smile gracing her ethereal face. "Oh, no where special, mon amour." He seemed to doubt her words. "I'll be back before you know it," she assured him, "I promise you."'

'Your brother turned to you, who was currently washing the dishes. You hadn't heard a thing; he frowned. He couldn't help but wonder how to break the news to you..'

'How to tell you that she wasn't coming home. Not alive and well, that is.'

...

....

Once you gathered up all your belongings(which, really wasn't much if I'm being honest), you set out to find a new home. A fresh start- far away from those pesky demons, and pesky Demon King. A pesky-free life.

You traveled for who-knows-how-long and ended up in who-knows-where. After asking a few of the residents, you found out that you're by a train station, somewhere on the Owuhana map(not sure if thats how you spell it). Apparently, there had been people going missing on those trains. Correction; one of those trains.

"The...Mugen Train?" The tall man nodded in confirmation, "Everyday. They always send a new conductor to check the place out, but they never come back. They're lucky enough if they find the corpse of the guy still intact inside the train." The man laughed it off as if it'd been some sort of superstitious tale- but it wasn't. This was the world you had been put it. A world full of bloodthirsty demons.
