Welcome Z-folks to our April activity.
We've taken advantage of the last moments of the cherry blossom season and the Haiku Day, which falls on April 17th, and prepared a short poetic challenge for you.
And of course... it is Haiku time.

A haiku is a traditional form of Japanese poetry consisting of three lines. The first and third lines have five syllables, while the second line has seven syllables. Haiku typically capture a moment in nature or a feeling, often with a focus on simplicity and observation.

Example?

Zombies roam the park, (5 syllables)
Cherry blossoms in decay, (7 syllables)
Beauty in death's grip. (5 syllables)

I. Submission has to be a haiku (3 lines, 5-7-5 syllable pattern).
II. Your entry should follow the prompt, so zombies & cherry blossoms (but feel free to interpret the theme creatively)
III. Haiku has to be submitted via form linked in comment section.
IV. The challenge runs from April 15th to April 30th, ending at 11:59 PM EST.
V. Entry must be written in English.
VI. Each person can submit up to three haikus.
