If you are a doctor, a teenager, if you are an attorney, or a writer, a millionaire, a prince, pauper, work in sales, or if you have ever used a computer or laptop or phone or tablet, then this is the most important thing that you have to do immediately. I mean Immediately!!!
I know, I know, you have a laptop, a tablet, a phone, etc. but you are not a technological science mastermind in the software business. I am telling you this to save you extrodinary head ache and ‘I told you sos In your furture. This is very, very, very important and you Do Not want to ignore this message!
Okay. Go out and buy an old laptop. When I say old I mean the old lap top must;
Must be anything other than a Dell, however if you have no choice.
HP, Toshibas, or most every model will be alright, especially Hp or Toshibas, but anything else may work
Have a Dvd drive (the dvd drive does not have to be working but it has to have the drive for putting in DVDs
Have a hard drive: Preferably a 500 Gb Hard drive or more memory. If the Laptop you buy is not Satisfactory and you can’t return it for another, then don’t dump it, you may need the Ram sticks and the Hard drive if the hard drive is 500 gb or more memory.
Must have a fan in it (you can hear the fan when turned on.
The processor unit should be 1.2 gigahertz or more
It does not matter the core (i3, i5, etc., and it does not matter if it has a video card or not)
If it is thick or heavier than the new slim ones to day that is good. If it is not an online lap top (requires online as now) that is great
If the antivirus is old or outdated or needs to be updated, that is great. Do Not Update this Laptop.
What we are trying to get you is a laptop that is able to store and show all of your information to you and no one else.
We are attempting to get you an offline device because you will most likely need it.
So just about all old laptops will fit the above criterias you will notice. If the laptop has a big screen then that is a good plus.
As well, old laptops are very cheap and are practically thrown away. So just go down to some second hand store, or ask if any one has an old laptop that they do not want, or if you see one by the side of the road, you will jump out of your car and go in the garbage for it. This is how important this is. You will do the weirdest things if you only you knew what is going to go on.
You may even be able to get an old laptop for U.S. 20 Dollars or so, because the sellers probably doesn’t know yet the valuable of the device for the future.
Okay so you finally got your old laptop that meets the criterias stated above.
Do Not, turn your laptop on!!!
This is a risk that you will have to take!
Open the Laptop, or have someone open the laptop and unscrew the WLan chip (tiny, flat, green, rectangle or square with a wire leading from it to the screen. Do not pull it or it may rip your screen. Instead cut out the chip and piece of the cord attached. Be careful that you are not cutting the screen cord, because the screen cord also runs like the wifi (Wlan/lan etc.) cord. The chip should mark lan or Wlan on it and is very small and fits the description.
Good. Now once you have the chip out, you can put back up your laptop and get ready to use it. Turn it on now, and do the necessary steps to get it working. If it does not work, you can install Windows 10 Home or just better leave it if it is working.
For some of you, you might want to turn on the Laptop first to make sure that it is working, but you run the risk of the laptop automatically downloading information that may work against you in the future.
So there is two route if you want windows 10 Home and it is not installed.
Start and install the windows 10 64 bit (or 32 bit for extra privacy but less performance)(from a usb stick or DVD, I prefer the stick using rufus for p.c.) before taking out the Wlan (internet) chip.
Take out the Wlan chip first and then install Windows 10 64 bit (or 32 bit for extra privacy but less performance)(from a usb stick or DVD, I prever the stick using rufus for p.c.)
Now I do not know if the windows 10 will not install without the Wlan chip, but it should. The brands may vary, but it should.
