I feel my heart pounding in my ears as I stand in the train station. My new foster parents standing on either side of me, trying to assure me that everything will be okay. I look up at them, "You both went here, right?" They both place a hand on one of my shoulders and nod, a small smile on their lips. I take a deep breath, "Alright, I'm ready." Their smiles get a little bigger as they stand behind me, my foster mom speaking, "Go ahead, darling." I take one more deep breath, holding it in as I take hold of my cart and run at the pillar between platforms nine and ten.

I pass through it, but once I'm on the other side, I smash into someone. I gasp and pull the cart back, looking to the person who is now on the ground. Sitting on the ground in front of me is a boy with white hair, wearing green and black robes. I head over to him, offering a hand which he rudely pushes away, "I'm so sorry, it's my first time ever going here. I just transferred from Ilvermorny." Once he stands up, he looks behind me before looking back at me, scoffing, "Great, just what we needed, another mud blood."

I feel hands on my shoulders and look back to see my foster parents. I look back at the boy, "And you're much better? I bet a snobby brat like you doesn't even have friends, and-" my foster mom pats my shoulder, "Temper, dear." I sigh. I hate being told to watch my temper, even when I have good reason to be upset. The boy looks me up and down with his silver eyes before clicking his tongue and speaking, "Just stay out of my way." Before I can say a word, he storms off.

I turn around, walking over to the handle of my cart, grasping it with one hand as my foster mom speaks, "I know it's hard to keep your temper in check, but just breath, and remember-" I cut her off, grabbing the handle with my other hand, "Keep my name a secret, I know, I know." I look at her and she has a soft expression on her face, "We've already told the headmaster to have you go by our last name, so everything should be alright," she walks over, placing her hand on the opposite side of my head before placing a kiss to the top of my head, "we're only an owl away if you need to talk to us, dear."

I nod, "Okay, I'll try to write when I can." They both give me one last hug before going back through the pass. I sigh, looking over at the contents of my cart, seeing a cat carrier placed on top, "That wasn't there a moment ago..." I inspect the cat carrier and see a note on top that reads: 'We figured you might want someone you could talk to while you're away from home, someone you can trust. Love, mom and dad.' I flip the paper over to see another small note: 'p.s. his name is Romeo.' I fold the parchment and slide it in my pocket.

I notice everybody getting on the train, and I head over, myself. The only thing I carry with me is the cat carrier as I get on the train. Looking around, I try to find a single booth for me to ride in that wasn't too crowded. Eventually I sigh, walking over to the last door to see the blond haired boy with two others, "I must be the most unlucky person ever." I open the door and all three boys look at me, distaste in their eyes. "Can't you see that this booth is full?" the blond says. I groan as I walk in, closing the door behind me, "This isn't exactly heaven for me, either, you know." He rolls his eyes and I sit down on his side, all the way against the wall so I have no chance of touching him.

I look at the cat carrier on my lap, hesitating, as I ponder opening it. I gather my thoughts saying, "Fuck it," and open the cage. After a moment, I see a little fury, black, face emerge from the container and I smile a little, "Hi Romeo." The cat looks up at me, seeming to peer into my soul. He stays like that for a minute or two before walking out of the cage. I set the carrier on the seat between me and the blond boy before reaching my hand over the cat. I pet him, head to tail, and he nuzzles against me before curling up in my lap and laying down. I hear the three boys snicker and I look up at them, "What's so funny?" I look between the two on the other side before looking at the blond boy as he speaks, "Your cat is named Romeo?" He stifles a laugh and I narrow my eyes, "I didn't pick the name, but I think it suits him, he seems like a sweet cat." At that he doesn't hold back his laughter, followed by the other two. I feel my blood begin to boil, and I try to count to ten like my old foster parents told me. It almost has me calmed down when I hear the blond boy say something that I can't forgive, "Mud bloods like you shouldn't even be allowed within a hundred feet of Hogwarts."

I snap, "I bet you'd much prefer all of your sister-cousins there with you so you could all have a nice orgy together, but sadly, not every witch or wizard that needs to be taught how to use their magic in London is part of your family tree." He narrows his eyes, retrieving his wand from his robe as he moves closer, knocking the cat carrier to the ground. He grabs my collar, placing his wand under my chin as he speaks, "Don't you dare speak to me like that again, you filthy little mud blood." Romeo stands up on my lap and begins hissing and growling. Draco looks down at him and then back up at me, smirking, "you-" he gets cut off by the train stopping suddenly. He gets tossed on top of me by the momentum.

He pries himself off of me, fixing himself as he scoffs and sits back in his spot. All of a sudden, everything goes cold, and the glass on the window begins to freeze. The door opens and all of us look towards it, seeing a cloaked creature floating in the doorway. Fear strikes me and I begin to panic inside, my eyes widening as the creature floats in front of me. It appears to lunge towards me a bit before someone walks to our door, ordering the creature out of the booth. The whole ride after that was kinda fuzzy. I just sat quietly, petting Romeo.
