SHUBMAN'S POV

Here , I was , at the eden garden Stadium , practicing.
Today it was INDvsSA.
I can't afford any distractions today.
They are a very strong team .
Unbeaten like us .
I want to prove myself today , that I can do it .
Then rohit bhai went for the toss and we won the toss and choose to bat first .
We were all in the dressing room now , and rohit bhai told us that , just to do our things which ever we felt right . And play according to the situation.
Then we went and stood in attention for the national anthem .
While the national was going on , my eyes went towards the screen ,

Or wait ? Am I hallucinating?
I again , saw towards the screen , and yes , She . Is . HERE!!!
I have to play well , at any cost .
Soon the National anthem ended and in my right side , Virat bhai was there , I told him about her being here .
Virat: ohhh, toh woh hai , you have to do great today . To impress her .
I nodded and , we , me and Rohit bhai came to bat .

Malvika's POV

We reached the eden garden , and took our seat .
All the players were practicing,
Ishika: Look , your Shubman . * teasing tone*
She said pointing towards the big screen I turned and saw him . He was practicing, fielding .
I smiled looking at him .
Then there was the announcement about the toss .
And India won the toss .!!
They will be batting first .
So that mean shubman will come again .
Soon , they came to bat , and Shubman looked towards where I was sitting , suddenly his eyes met mine .
It was so deep and intense, it was reminding me of our very first eye contact.
In that moment , I really wished the time would stop , and we would look into each others eyes so deeply and intensely.
Then I noticed he smiled at me , which I gladly returned, and mouthed a best of luck, showing my thumb .
He too mouthed a thank you and started walking towards the pitch .
Soon they started batting .
And it went quit well .
Then suddenly Rohit sharma got caught out.!!
And THE VIRAT KOHLI came in to bat .
It took him some time to adjust, but shubman was now totally set .
And Shubman made a half century in 46 balls !!!
And when virat kohli came to congrats him , he said something to him , and he blushed looking in my direction.

Soon , Shubman was in his 90s , and I started praying , joining my hand , and closing my eyes ,
Then suddenly I heard , everyone in the stadium , cheering and chanting shubman's name , I opened my eyes and saw him doing the iconic , The shubman gill bow down celebration

And I was squealing in happiness , and then he raised his bat towards me .
I was so happy that , tears made there way , but they were happy tears .

Soon their inning ended with Shubman 135* not out .
And india was 345-4 .
Now it was SA who were batting and they were all out!! At just 89 runs .
And Shami was the man of the match.
Soon they were in the dressing room.
And people started leaving .
So I and Ishika also were about to leave , when suddenly my phone rang .
And the screen showed 'Shubi❤'
I picked it up quickly .

Shubman: Hello , Vick?
Malvika: hmm..
Shubman: Mat jao, mujhe tumse milna hai .
Malvika: tumhe kaisa pata mein ja rahi thi ?
Shubman: dressing room ki balcony dekho .
And I Looked , which was to the right hand side , from my seat .
He was standing and waving at me .
I waved back .
Malvika: par mein Ishika ke sath-
Shubman: usse bhi le aao . Usse bhi mil lunga .
Malvika : acha chalo , tum arahe ho ?
Shubman : hmm yes wait .

SHUBMAN'S POV
As soon as I ended the call , I went where she was waiting along with Ishika .
As soon as she saw me she came and hugged me tightly .
I too hugged her back .
Shubman: I missed you so much !!
Malvika: Me too !!! And well played !!
Shubman: thank you !! Also for praying for me , I saw you praying for me , when I was in my 90s .
Malvika: you are always in my prayers .
I smiled hearing her .
Ishika: I'm also here !
We both pulled out , of the hug and I handshaked with her .
Shubman: how are you Dr.Ishika?
Ishika: Positive as always!!
Ishan: Shub yaha kya kar raha hai ?
Shubman : arrey Ishan meet Ishika
and Malvika .
Ishan :(Ishika , so Malvika bhabhi knows her *he thought*)
Ishan: nothing, just saw you , coming here so ,
Shubman: Can you accompany Ishika ? I just want to take Malvika somewhere?
Malvika: What ? Where are we going-
Ishan : Arrreey bhabhi you go na !
Ishika: did you said bhabhi ?
Ishika enquired , while giving teasing look to both me and Malvika .
While Malvika was totally red , and was confused as well . Whole time, I was glaring at Ishan , to say something .
Ishan: Arreyyy !! When did I said it ? Shubman, you heard me saying Bhabhi ?
Shubman: huh? N-no !!
Ishan: I think your ears are ringing Ms.Ishika!!
Ishika: whatever !
Shubman: Achaa ! Whatever ! Vick ! Let's go .
Then I pulled her with me , towards the parking lot .
And we sat in my car .
Malvika: where are we going ?
Shubman: it's a surprise!
