It's nightfall on the cottage of David Paoi is laying on a bed having a high fever, sweating all over the place, acting so weird while rubbing his anguishing stomach, then a rumbling can be heard inside it's like he's not eating for days, while Edwin calming him down and Kyle is wiping Paoi's sweat as David arrives holding a vial of medicine that could calm Paoi down, but as soon as Paoi drinks it he felt his entire body burning like his blood is boiling so he trembles badly until suddenly Paoi screams turns into a animal snarl and tries to bite his friends but before Paoi could bit Kyle, David punches Paoi's face that he lost consciousness, worried but they ignored it so David grabs some ropes and ask his friends to tie Poai, even with hesitation David force his friends to tie Paoi on the bed.

"David, what's happening to Paoi, I'm starting to get frightened? Kyle ask afraid that Edwin also agreed.

"The way he's stomach growling like he didn't feed for days even do we're eating together, and the way he sweats and trembling." David suddenly stunned then he stammered saying that he could believe what he understand so his friends told David to tell them what he knows.

"This symptoms only occur when a person is in a transition state of becoming a Yanggaw." Edwin and Kyle are shock in surprise with a bit worried.

"So what are we going to do." Kyle ask in panic.

"The most importantly how much time do we have until Paoi became a Yanggaw." Edwin said then David slowly went to Paoi as to checks his pulse to the arm but before he could touch it the veins are visible bursting like waves so David quickly removes backs away.

"It's much worse that I thought." David replied in shock.

"How? I thought the transformation of a person to Yanggaw is weeks or months?" Kyle ask confused that he scratch his head.

"Maybe it turns out that way, we didn't know how long ago Paoi was infected but even so there should at least signs that could tell us that he's infected but it came out surprisingly." Edwin said confuse as he wipes her sweat.

"Like it's already at the final stage of the transition, I don't get it. I know it's obvious that one of the Aswang infected Paoi but it just happened instantly." David then went closer to Paoi and touch his pulse to the hand, after analyzing David let's go. "He's pulse are weak but enough keep him alive." Then David touch Paoi's stomach. "It's empty probably vomits every time we eat almost to starvation and it's dangerous, once Paoi is loose he'll eat everything he see's including us."

"What do you mean by that?!" Kyle ask worried.

"Starvation makes us desperate, enrage, careless, and if worse case mindless like wild animals and it makes worse when." David suddenly looks out of his window then saw the full moon so he sigh and comes back. "It's a full moon tonight so one way or another Paoi will become a ferocious feral wild animal and the moment he wakes up the ropes cannot hold on until morning."

"If that so then we should tie Paoi with chains." Kyle said exhilarate.

"Really? And where do think we can get a chain at this hour and also nobody makes chains in this town, dumbass." Edwin said irritated as he mocks Kyle.

"So what are we going to do, we can't just wait that Paoi will woke and devour as all." Kyle said frustrated.

"Paoi is our friend, he will never ate us, right?" Edwin ask worried.

"Kyle is right, Edwin. We have to do something in order for us to survive."

"What if we ask help to the Aswangs beside they are the ones who turned Paoi into a Yanggaw?" Kyle ask terrified as he scratch his head.

"It's a full moon tonight, they are in a feeding frenzy even other Aswang are on the hunt as well and leaving this house is a death sentence." David replied then Edwin saw different kind of ingredients on the shelf.
