How did we get here?

Author's note: Thank you so much for reading. I have poured 5 nights into this over the last week, and although I did not hit my original goal of finishing this by the morning of April 13th (rather wrapping up here at almost 3:30 AM of the 15th), I'm glad that this is complete and that I didn't rush it out which would've undoubtedly dipped the quality in favor of an arbitrary release date. I've never really wrote a proper book before, so I hope this first one turned out well, and that Wattpad is a fairly usable site when reading. Also, because it's so late and I need to finish this and get it ready, I did NOT proofread this, so please excuse any typos or grammatical errors. I type pretty quickly and some things slip through the cracks. I would also like to state that in the given time frame, this is STILL not as long as I'd want it to be, so maybe expect a bit more in the future. This is just what I wrote in a week as an almost 18 year old, so if you liked it, then you should fear what I'll do when I'm old, wise, and have more time. I'd say that I am the best yapper that I personally know now.
