Five years later...

It had been five years, yes five years. Ever since hoseok had come back from death's clutches, and the last time he woke up,t hat was the last time anyone had ever seen hoseok awake. Hoseok had gone into a coma for five years, let's just say yoongi had lost his mind.

Ever since that scary encounter of hoseok dying, yoongi had lost a part of himself, he was still traumatized, he never left the hospital. He would bath, eat, sleep and do whatever at the hospital because he feared that if he ever left hoseok's side, he will receive bad news and he didn't want that so he just stayed at the hospital for five years never leaving hoseok's side.

Namjoon, Jin, taehyung and Jungkook and Jimin were having a hard time with yoongi. They tried so many times to convince yoongi to come home at least make some homemade food and receive sunlight and fresh air, but yoongi just ignored them because he was just scared, scared that if he ever left hoseok, the red head would die. He could still remember vividly the way hoseok felt cold, stiff and he wasn't breathing. Everytime yoongi had nightmares about that and anytime he woke up he would panic and immediately go to hoseok's bed and place his hand on his chest just to make sure his nightmare wasn't real. He would carress hoseok's skin just to make sure that hoseok wasn't cold or felt stiff.

Alot had happened during these five years. Jimin had gone back to Alcataie secretly since he knew taehyung and Jungkook won't allow him after what happened to hoseok, but he knew he would have to explain where he had been when he came back. When he arrived He informed hoseok's parents about what happened to hoseok and he was really shocked when he found  out  that they were actually the one's who revived hoseok by visiting the mer-oracle and asking for his help to bring hoseok back to life since they had felt the bond they had with hoseok fading away. They just knew something was wrong and Jimin was relatively shocked again when hoseok's father told him he went to Atlantis to visit the king since he had a suspicion that he was behind it and the king was right since it didn't take long to make the king confess after putting his daughter on knife point.

He stated that he sent Kent to pose as a merman and that merman being hoseok's betrothed, Wyatt. He sent Kent to breach Alcataie because he wanted to take revenge on the king of Alcataie for stealing hoseok's mother from him which was the current queen of Alcataie. Now Jimin was confused during all this revelations because it didn't make sense because a siren couldn't fall in love with a mermaid, they were basically made to kill each other. But he was wrong.

Hoseok's mother, Alice, was supposed to marry the king of Atlantis, Noah, but then Alice fell in love with the king of Alcataie, Zach which caused Noah great pain and sorrow and mostly anger, because he loved Alice so much and he thought Alice loved him too but he was wrong, so, when he found out that they had given birth to a boy which was hoseok. He planned his every move and calculated everything, so,when he found out about hoseok's wedding with his betrothed and ordered Kent, his most trusted right hand merman to kill hoseok since he knew it would cause Alcataie great pain losing their prince but he knew it would also hurt his target's which were hoseok's parents after hearing they lost their first child.

But what he didn't know was that Alice and Zach weren't going to back down easily and went to the mer-oracle to bring hoseok back to life but with one price which they knew hoseok would hate them forever for. Hoseok won't be a merman anymore, he would lose his powers and he won't be able to breathe under water anymore and that meant hoseok won't be able to be the king of Alcataie anymore, basically he lost everything that came with being a merman. That was how the mer-oracle was, he would take before giving,so, they had to make hoseok's brother, Adrian to be the next king and he accepted with no hesitation.

After that they took Noah to the high court of the seven seas and was trialed for treason since the seven seas were one and he betrayed one because of his blind rage and thirst for revenge. He was banned from ever being a king and was banished and won't ever be able to have or go anywhere in the ocean, he would be a rogue. Another ruler was coronated to rule Atlantis which was Noah's daughter, Sage.

After Jimin heard this, he came back to the human realm looking distraught. He didn't know what he would tell hoseok when he woke up.

Currently they were all in hoseok's room just hanging out with each other. Yoongi was seating near hoseok, holding his hand and just looking at him.

Namjoon and Jin were sitting on the couch in the room and reading a book together since they didn't know what to do.

Taehyung, Jungkook and Jimin were cramped on the other small couch just looking at yoongi break apart Infront of them and if they could do anything just for hoseok to wake up they would do it just so that yoongi would smile again, laugh and do everything he loved again.

When Jimin came back, his boyfriend's asked him where he had gone too even when they had a pretty good guess about where he went but they just wanted to hear Jimin say it. Jimin told them he would tell them but the others had to be there too so that he could tell them what he found out. After Jimin reassured them, they let the matter die down until the time they would all be together so Jimin could spill.

That day didn't take long and Jimin was going to tell them what he had been told.

"I... I have something to say." Jimin blurted out suddenly.

Namjin stopped what they were doing and looked at Jimin with furrowed eyebrows.

Taekook sat properly wanting to hear what happened.

Yoongi didn't pay anymind to what Jimin was going to say but they all knew he could hear Jimin.

Jimin sighed "y'all know I had gone missing for two days right?" Jimin asked them and they nodded.

"Well... The reason why I had gone missing was because I went to Alcataie."

"We know" they all said except yoongi.

Jimin rolled his eyes and continued "I found out something though." Jimin cleared his throat.

"Well you see I went to Alcataie to inform hoseok's parents about the condition hoseok was in. And to my shock I found out that they already knew, but I shouldn't have been since all merpeople have a bond and when someone of theirs is in danger or has died, we feel it so hoseok's parents felt it when hoseok died and so they visited the mer-oracle and asked for help and he revived hoseok back to life so it wasn't yoongi who brought hoseok back to life. If it wasn't for the oracle hoseok would have died."

Yoongi flinched at jimin's last sentence and held hoseok tighter.

Jimin continued. "he saved hoseok but with the cost of hoseok's identity."

"what do you mean?" Namjoon asked curiously.

"It means hoseok isn't a merman anymore." They all gasped except Jimin who expected this reaction.

Yoongi's eyes widened and he jumped off the bed and looked at Jimin in horror "How is that possible?"

Jimin shook his head while biting his bottom lip. " It's possible, when it's the oracle, it's really possible"

"Why would they agree to that?! Why would they agree to such a horrid thing? Hoseok loved who he was and he still does, how do you think he will feel when he wakes up?" Yoongi was furious.

Jimin faced palmed "do you think they didn't think about this? Do you think they did this purposely? Hoseok died yoongi, if it wasn't for hoseok's parents and the oracle hoseok wouldn't even be sleeping on that bed, he would have been six feet under so be thankful." Jimin sat down and pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. "yes hoseok lost his tail and his powers and he would definitely be devastated when he wakes up and finds out about what happened but it was for the best yoongi, hoseok had his whole life ahead of him, he had a lot to experience and I am happy that he was given a chance to live again even though he lost almost everything he loved but atleast he has us, he has you, okay?"

Jimin stood up and hugged yoongi who nodded and hugged back, he looked at hoseok and smiled.

"It was definitely for the best."
