"What?!" hoseok yelled in disbelief. His parents looked at him with confusion because of the strange language.

"Eid cah Gago soh jia go sepy inla waj(I'm not mating and marrying him)" hoseok said to his parents who frowned at the way he was behaving.

"Maji zeha bibi,saji liagi cjah!(you are getting married,and that is final!)" his father stood up from his bed looking completely fine.

Hoseok stared at his parents in disbelief and betrayal. They never told him he had a betothed. "Heza... jeag Aagi!,liago jiga raem(but... I barely know him! And I don't love him and I never will)" hoseok stated, his eyes turning green.

"Baej zhaj klad vewj mevg sedt,naq jiik lixc poui fead (once the two of you get to know each other, you will learn to love, live and tolerate each other)" his mother inquired while holding hoseok's face. Hoseok pulled away and went towards the male who is his "betrothed" and told him to just turn back and find another merman or mermaid to spend the rest of his life with. The merman stared at him with a piercing gaze then went closer to hoseok who backed away and hissed, his eyes turning to a combination of purple and blue, showing he was threatened. The merman just scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"Kie hoseok aui loe vin wyatt,xez iexy wah ouh(nice to meet you hoseok, my name is Wyatt, and I think we will make a good combination and we are going to get married whether you like it or not)" Wyatt whispered to hoseok with a smile on his face to make sure his mother and father in law won't be suspicious.

Hoseok bared his teeth and pushed Wyatt away from him and dropped a bomb. "Heas bef yui zea liaj(I already have a mate)" hoseok smirked knowing his parents will have to respect his wishes since he can't have two mates but he was wrong and the smirk was wiped off his face when his mother slapped him on the face.

He gasped and looked at his mother in shock. This was the first time his mother had ever hit him. The very first time. Pearls poured out of his eyes, his eyes turning black.

His mother was breathing heavily in anger, her face an angry red. "Xes ciJ odk alij?,waj vers thesa hib?!(how could you stoop so low? Lying about having another mate? How dear you?!)."

Hoseok came out of his trance and wanted to call Jimin to support his claim of having another mate but he thought of it and didn't want to put his friend in trouble. Jimin was supposed to protect hoseok when he saw him in the human realm but let hoseok mate so Jimin would be in more trouble than hoseok and so hoseok kept his mouth shut. But what he didn't know was that there was a way to know if he was really saying the truth.

His mother came close to him and held his face tightly in her hold her eyes turning into the color gold and going through hoseok's recent memory and found out that hoseok wasn't lying and saw him and an unknown human mating and even saw the time hoseok marked yoongi.

She pulled away and spat on the ocean floor with disgust in her face. Hoseok came out his dream state,his eyes looked hazy but then he came out of his daze and was met with his mother's face that had disgust written on it.

"Dwui kiet vin!,taeki si vgad?!(you are a disgrace! How could you?!)." His father asked what happened and what his wife saw since he knew of his wife's ability. She explained what she saw and hoseok didn't know what to say but to receive a scolding from his parents. Though he was happy that at least he won't be marrying a stranger, but he was completely wrong when his parents threatened to kill yoongi if he doesn't agree to their plans for him.

"Yoongi teds neaga?,gerf wjio baem hute tcaf pluit(yoongi is his name right? I will send my guards to kill him and you will do nothing about it)." his father threatened him and hoseok wasn't stupid, he knew his parents threat weren't bluff so he agreed with an heavy heart.

"Jimin wert hadai,neaga?(Jimin does not know about this, does he?)" his Father asked him. Hoseok shook his head with no hesitation and his parents didn't push the matter and the next day they started planning the wedding that hoseok was forced to agree to.

When Jimin heard about the news he was devastated for his friend and tried to be there for him but hoseok just locked himself up and didn't want to talk to anyone. These were the times Jimin thanked God for not having parents because if he had parents he would have been betrothed to a stranger whom he didn't even love and he didn't want to dream about mating and spending his whole life with someone he barely knew instead of his two Humans.

Just thinking about what his parents tried to do to him made him sick. His parents tried to sell him as a baby to a human scientist for experiment since they could not dump the baby in the ocean since the baby could be easily traced back to them so they wanted the baby out of the ocean. They didn't want Jimin since they were forced to get married and having a baby was not on their list so when they found out they were having a one, they were devastated and so, asked a friend of theirs for help who told them about a scientist who took merbabies for experiment's and so he would really take Jimin. They listened to their friend and were planning on giving Jimin to him but got caught before they could even sell Jimin and were executed. Hoseok's parents took Jimin in and trained to be the betrothed bodyguard of hoseok.

Jimin and hoseok were really close so Jimin seeing the latter in this state hurt him to the bone. He didn't know what to do for his friend... yet.
