"What is this?"
This feeling was a very familiar one; one she couldn't get rid of.
Where did she find this sort of indescribable feeling? Water?
Right.
This was exactly how she felt when she chained herself in water.
At the realization, the general's eyes opened.
She wasn't mistaking at all.
Why..... she clearly remembered that she was about to die, then why was she underneath water?
She was supposed to be in a desert.
Was it this stupid curse again? Why won't the Creator not just let her die?
She began to swim to bring herself out of the damn water. As she reached the surface, she sighted another figure in the water.
Where am I?
She swam up to the surface and out of the water, gasping for air.
Shit. There was not just one person but four more.
One of them happened to see her. "Why is there another person in there? How did she get in?"
The others who were busy looked at her.
"Fifth brother, I think there is a ghost in the water. Hurry up, get out of there!" One of them yelled.
The supposed fifth brother, turned to look at her and screamed.
The general dived back in the water and swam far away from where the 'fifth brother' was.
The fifth brother squirmed about in the water. "Hurry get me out. Where has the ghost gone? H... has she disappeared?" He was beyond frightened.
One of his brothers reached and pulled him out.
Another drew out a sword and watchfully gazed around.
The general swum back up to the surface for air and at the same time, she got out of the water.
The fifth brother upon sighting her, yelled again. "She got out of the water. The ghost is out! Hurry catch her fourth brother."
The fourth brother who held the sword, ran towards her but she was faster. She opened the large door with every ounce of strength in her and ran out.

The general panted heavily as she squatted on the ground. The scorching sun wasn't helping matters at all.
The general's eyes scanned the entire environment. Due to the fact that she was running all the way, she had no chance to observe her surroundings.
She was currently standing on a rocky surface, probably on a hill. She looked at her dress.
Weird, her military outfit was gone. She was dressed in a more lady ish attire. The only difference was that this attire was a bit huge on her and it explained why she was out of breath after only running for some minutes.
She was certainly not in any place that defined Korea and she was sure she couldn't be in North Korea.
She had calculated her steps wisely. The aircraft was above a desert so even if she had survived, she should've been in a desert and not in some place she didn't even know.
The general turned towards where she had been running from. She wasn't able to scan the place but she noticed the murals on the walls.
Was that a temple?
She scoffed and looked up at the sky. "Why did you not just let me die with them? Why did you have me watch them die? I guess you derive pleasure in watching me suffer."
She stood up and pointed angrily towards the sky.
"Well, I have bad news for you Old man, I am going to grab every opportunity I have to end my life. Either I die by my hands or by another, I will surely end this pathetic life of mine. I Han chaeyeon will certainly not live by your standards."
As if angered by her sentence, a loud rumble of thunder was heard. Chaeyeon jolted backwards.
"That was fucking not cool!" She yelled and kicked a stone.
She suddenly heard the steps of someone approaching.
Given her sharp reflexes, she picked up a stone. Holding it tight, she turned towards the sound.
"Chaeyeon!"
The stone in the general's hand dropped.
"Do I know you?" She asked who ran towards her and hugged her in reply.
The general's entire body went stiff as a rock at the contact. She raised her hand and pushed the female away.
"I asked a question earlier. Do I know you? How do you know my name?"
There were very people who knew of her real name and eighty percent of them were the SS soldiers who were with her a few moments ago and they were all dead.
"I don't know you."
The female was taken aback.
"Chaeyeon, what sort of joke is this? It's me Eunjeong. We grew up together. Don't tell me you've forgotten about me. I was so worried about you; you disappeared for two weeks I... I thought you had died,"
At this point, Eunjeong eyes became misty.
"I don't know what I would've done if you had died. What would I have told our mothers? They would've been very disappointed at me, that I wasn't able to keep you safe." She hugged her again.
The general tensed up.
"I don't know you."
Eunjeong took a step back.
"Anyways, I'm so glad I was able to find you. Come on, let's return back to the Palace," Eunjeong held her hand but the general flung it away.
The general took a deep breath, "I've said it already, I don't know you. Who do you think you are to just hug me out of the blue twice and what? We are heading back to a Palace? What Palace? We are in the 21st century lady." The general said.
Eunjeong blinked rapidly.
"What are you saying? Chaeyeon we...."
The general held her head.
"Don't call me that."
Eunjeong held her shoulders.
"How can I not call you that? It's your name! You're Han chaeyeon!"
The general's pupils shrank in. She took a step back from Eunjeong, "I said do not call me that!" She yelled.
"Don't be like this chaeyeon, I know you're still feeling bad over our mother's death. It wasn't your fault chaeyeon so don't let those badmouth maids make you feel down." Eunjeong stated.
The air suddenly became suffocating, the general held her chest as dark memories began to flow.
She looked at Eunjeong.
"You...."
Her entire body collapsed.
