Cairo's third person POV:
five minutes before.
If she was being honest, Cairo didn't want to do this at all. She didn't really enjoy teaching or anything like that in particular, but it was for the extra credit, and Cairo wanted to be able to make a good impression in the first week of university.
she sets down the first few books in a neat way, opening the textbook for the younger students. The teacher had informed her that it would be someone a year or two younger then Cairo, which she didn't find disturbing, she actually found it slightly easier so that she could help someone with the work she might have used to do. It was almost time for their tutoring lesson, and Cairo wondered if the girl she was helping would be late.
But only a few seconds later, she hears the small patter of footsteps. After finishing up reviewing the last part of the textbook, Cairo lifts her head, getting ready to say something about sitting herself down, until she really got a better look at the younger girl. A better look, at her roommate.
"You're my tutor?!" Cairo lets out a sigh at CC's shock, as she stands herself up from the table. "Oh don't be so shocked." CC scoffs, "Okay well why can't I be? I was expecting someone more smart." Cairo's eyebrows raise as she lets out a breath of slight shock. She didn't want her temper to grow so she leaves her anger alone. "Just come sit. It's not like I wanted to do their either." She says in the calmest way she could, as CC pulls out a chair, plopping herself down in a lazy manner. "Which subject first?"
"What subjects are there?" she asks, resting her elbow onto the edge of her seat. Cairo lets out a little chuckle, "Well, almost all of them." CC's eyebrows furrowed, "Are you serious?" Cairo shrugs, "Afraid so."
CC let's out a childish groan, "Ugh. this is going to go on forever."
"The quicker you make up your mind the faster this lesson will go by." Cairo snaps slightly, gaining part of CC's attention, as she straightens her posture. "Fine. Math."
She motions her hand towards CC's bag, "Binder please." she rummages for a moment, before pulling out a small red binder, putting no effort in handing it to Cairo.
She opened the binder, skimming through the pages, but not long until she had gotten her answer. "Half of the questions in these assignments are either wrong or incomplete." She raises her tone in annoyance as she sees the girl in a daydream, her eyes staring out the back window. "Hey. CC." She waves, trying to get her attention before looking out the window herself.
There was a tall boy out there, who looked like a Sophomore. He had shoulder length dark brown hair, part of it tied up into a small ponytail, and was out of the field dribbling the soccer ball swiftly and professionally between his feet, his tongue slightly stuck out and his teeth bit into it to remain focus. Ugh. Casper Freeman.
Last year when Casper had joined the school, almost half the Freshmen girls were crushing on him, maybe even a little of the older girls too, but Casper kept refusing anyone who confessed to him, riling up drama. Somehow he managed to dial it down this year, but of course people still found him beautiful to gaze at in the middle of class, and apparently as well as in the middle of your tutoring session.
"Hey. Eyes over here." She snaps her fingers in front of CC's face, making her jump slightly as her same annoyed expression returned. "What?" Her tone was more confused then angry.
"You got distracted by Mister Master of Rejection over there." She motions her head towards the window, Casper soon running out of view. "Wait- Master what now?"
