Chapter 3: Bonding time

"Wow!"
"She's dangerous,"
"I don't wanna fight her,"
"She's scary though!"
Kitana had left the ring and people were buzzing over her fight with Reptile. "You were great out there," Jade said.
"Thanks!" Kitana said, smiling. The two girls left the collusium and walked back to the dorms. "I'm sure my roomate, Skarlet won't mind if you come round for a bit!" Jade said.
"Oh cool!" Kitana replied.
The girls walked over to Jade's dorm and entered. Skarlet was in there already. "Erm, Hi, I'm Kitana!" Kitana said as soon as she entered the room.
"Oh Er, Hi I'm Skarlet!" All three chatted for a while about literally everything. "So, Skarlet, tell us about the boys here," Jade said.
"Well, Scorpion, he's my boyfriend so I can't say anything bad about him (but he kinda has anger issues), Sub-Zero a good fighter, all the girls fall for him, Smoke good fighter.." Skarlet continued.
"Smoke's a hottie," Jade added. All three laughed. Kitana started thinking, maybe Sub-Zero was just a player, like what Skarlet said, maybe he took his good looks as an advantage. Maybe he didn't like her at all. "Hey I should get back now, but I'll see you guys at breakfast tommorrow! Bye!" Kitana said.
"Just remember on Sundays, they do the good breakfast, you gotta get down quick!" Skarlet said.
"I will!" Kitana said and then left. Whilst walking back to her dorm she stopped outside Sub-Zero's dorm. Inside she could hear:
"So what do you think about Kitana and Jade?" Smoke's voice asked.
"Well, I really like Kitana but I dunno if she likes me, plus she dated Liu Kang, he'd beat me up if he found out," Sub-Zero's voice said.
"Same here with Jade, except swap Liu Kang with Kung Lao,"
"Us guys! But Jade definately likes you! When you got knocked out by Tanya, Jade ran over to you and held your hand, for ages, but when you were fighting I tried to kiss Kitana but she acted like she didn't notice,"
"Maybe she didn't notice,"
Kitana felt bad, she actually hadn't noticed. She walked down to her dorm. When she got in Tanya was watching TV. "Hi!" She said when she got in. Tanya grinned, "Your fighting was so good!"
"But yours Tanya, was perfect," The two laughed and Kitana got dressed into a nightie. She layed her head down to sleep and instantly fell asleep.

The next morning she awoke early, got dressed quickly and ran down to breakfast. Skarlet, Jade, Smoke, Sub-Zero, A guy dressed in yellow, Mileena (Kitana's sister) and a boy wearing black, sorta. Kitana sat with them and learnt the boy wearing yellow was Scorpion and the boy wearing black was called Noob. They all ate breakfast and Kitana felt awkward next to Sub-Zero but knew that he didn't know that she knew what they'd said. She put her hand on the table. Sub-Zero grabbed her hand, gently. She looked at him and drowned in his icy blue eyes. She knew today would be great.
