Chapter 6: Free Time And Running Into Exes

The next day Kitana popped round to Jade and Skarlet's dorm and had a long chat with them. A pleasant way to spend the day. All the group met up again and took a long walk around a nearby lake. Johnny and Sonya held hands all the way round, as did Skarlet And Scorpion, oh and Jade and Smoke. Kitana felt sorry for Tanya And Mileena as neither of them were dating anyone. Kitana clenched Sub-Zeros hand. She never wanted to let go.
"#selfie," Tanya shouted. All the couples kissed and Tanya And Mileena just pulled silly faces. "I'll have to print that out!" Sonya said. "Do y'all like my army boots?"
"So, retro," Jade said, and everyone laughed.

Later the group visited the mall. Kitana recognised someone there.
"Raiden!" Smoke shouted.
"Liu Kang.." Kitana said,
"And Kung Lao," Jade added.
"Your exes," Sonya said.
"I swear down, if there was two people I'd want to fight in this tournament, it'd be them," Mileena said.
"On that we agree!" Tanya said. Both Kung Lao and Liu Kang were stuck up and arrogant shaolin monks, yet Raiden still trained them.
"Kitana, I still have feeli..." Liu Kang spoke.
"Save it Liu Kang, I'm going out with Sub-Zero," Kitana said, the first time she'd classified the two as a couple and it felt good.
"Jade, I still.." Kung Lao began to speak.
"Hate your hat, good so do I," Smoke spoke.
"We don't wanna fight," Skarlet said.
"But we will if we must," Mileena added, smugly smiling.
Raiden held back the shaolins.
"Thought you were taught peace at the wooshi academy," Tanya said.
"We were," Liu said.
"Guess you weren't taught much else," Jade said.
The group laughed. "You're not worth the dirt on our shoes," Scorpion said. Then they left. "Well that was awkward," Skarlet said, clutching Scorpions hand.
"Yeah, by the way, I'm dating Rain," Tanya said.
"And I'm dating Noob Saibot," Mileena said.
"Well they can join our group too!" Sonya said.
"Not Noob," Sub-Zero said.
"What? Why?" Mileena asked.
"Well..."
