Stolas and Blitzø had been officially dating for about two years now, ever since Stolas' divorce was finalized and Blitzø finally faced his fear of commitment and made their relationship very publicly official by tongue kissing Stolas in front of a crowd of blue bloods and commoners alike.
Stolas had never been happier, he was with someone that truly loved him and made him feel comfortable and perfect in his own feathers. Likewise Blitzø was happy he finally had someone who he could be vulnerable with and not have to be afraid they would use his vulnerability against him, or worse yet, that they would leave.
Recently Blitzø had been considering asking the prince to marry him. He even went as far as to ask Octavia for her blessing, and of course the princess happily agreed, overjoyed that Blitzø would soon officially join her family. Little did Blitzø know Stolas was planning the same thing, having asked Loona for her blessing.
On the night of the anniversary of their first night together, Stolas put together a romantic dinner date for him and Blitzø beneath the big tree in the backyard where they used to go when they were young. A sunset picnic with wine and candles, and of course a bouquet of roses. When Blitzø arrived home from work, Stolas greeted him at the front steps of the palace, dressed to the nines in one of his always gorgeous outfits.

"Wow, babe, you look gorgeous." Blitzø said, looking at Stolas in awe.
"Well, I always want to look my best..." Stolas says, taking Blitzø's hand as he led him towards the tree.
"Where we going?" Blitzø asked.
"It's a surprise, my darling Blitzy..." Stolas says sweetly. Blitzø was immediately blown away by the sight before him of the intimate picnic for two with candles, roses, and wine. Little fairy lights hung from the branches, twinkling like the stars in the sky as the sun sank below the horizon.
"You didn't have to do all this, babe..." Blitzø says, blushing madly.
"Of course I did, I love you Blitzy..." Stolas says, pecking a kiss to Blitzø's lips. The pair went and sat on the picnic blanket, Stolas pouring them both a glass of wine.
An hour later, the sun had completely disappeared, the full moon shining brightly down on the pair. This was it, this was his moment. Stolas took a deep breath before taking Blitzø's hand in his.
"Blitzø, from the moment I first saw you, I felt an instant connection between us. I was too young then, but when I saw you again three years ago, I knew it was love I had felt. I have loved you all this time, and I will love you until our final day. So I guess what I'm trying to say is, Blitzø Buckzo, will you marry me?"
"I was gonna ask you the same thing." Blitzø says with a chuckle.
"Does that mean?--"
"Yes, you idiot! Yes, of course I'll marry you!" Blitzø said happily, practically tackling Stolas as he smashed their lips together. Stolas' heart was exploding with joy, he couldn't believe it. He was going to marry the man of his dreams, the love of his life, Blitzø.
"I love you so much, Blitzy." Stolas whispers, staring at Blitzø completely mesmerized.
"I love you too, Stolas..." Blitzø says softly, gazing at him with heart eyes. "Till death do us part..."
