As they all started talking about stuff from rice purity test scores to funny embarrassing moments as a kid, Frankie would come back and interrupt them in a nonverbal way, slamming the paper map on the table and sitting down in the seat once left empty by him. "Alright, I got the map, does this look good to ya' Austin?" His country accent would really pop out when he said Austin's name. Auwestin would look at the map and he'd nod with a friendly smile. "Yup! If anything, it's more than perfect! Thanks a lot dude!" He'd say with clear gratitude before then interrupting the moment of appreciation exchange from the two guys, Alora would speak to Frankie with curiosity and an hint of want. "Are you gonna come along with us Mr. Frankie?" She'd say with an expression that seemed like she was silently pleading for him to say yes, but instead, he would answer very honestly. "I don't know, I might have get one of my cousin's here or I might bother you guys—" but of course Alora would interrupt again and she'd blurt out. "You'd be a great addition! I want you coming along! Please??" She'd then also turn to Austin as he then just crossed his arms and sighed while Evan would kinda pose in the same way except he was missing a key thing; arms to cross. "Okay, sure, he can come." Austin would say with a slight smile as Evan then looked over at Frankie's mom and would take the map so that Frankie's mom could put the pie down and some plates for all of them before Austin could even accuse Evan of being stupid for taking the map, so instead Austin would just chuckle and the whole group including Frankie and his mom would proceed to now just enjoy their delicious homemade apple pie.As they got finished, Austin would check the time again. "8:42 P.M...." "SHOOT!" Evan would yell out immediately, trying to put his elbows on the table and hold his face in a stressful manner before realizing he once again, literally has no arms, so he'd just flail his nubs for a bit in an alarmed widened eyed expression. Austin would just get up from the table, his literal 6'11 self actually hitting his head on the roof in a burst. "Crap! Uh, anyway, let's get moving. No rest tonight." They'd all groan at that, this mission was important, yes, but they knew how tired they were going to be the next day since they weren't allowed to sleep right now, and as everybody started leaving the cabin and Frankie's mom would wave, Frankie would enter a quick message on his phone before he proceeded to grab 3 flashlights and THEN walk out with the others. Once they were all united outside, Austin would speak to them in a low voice. "Watch your step guys, remember what's lurking." would be said as they walked for a few minutes in the forest before Marco got lost in nervous thought and tripped, in which it was dark and once something that was silently ruffling in the bushes would see him in a vulnerable position, it would jump out and it was nothing other than a vicious hungry male TawClaw. As it started charging straight at a fallen shocked Marco, Frankie would hear the unfamiliar humanoid alien footsteps and he'd turn on the bright flashlight, pointing it at the TawClaw in which it completely froze, it's tall, pale lanky body that made it's dry blood covered mouth visible, would just be in a defensive position trying to hide from the light before Austin would shoot the TawClaw dead with his gun, blowing the steam off the gun opening and he'd lend a hand to Marco. "Don't do that again, alright? Just relax." He'd say in a surprisingly understanding way, opposite of what Marco thought Austin would say. "Alright sir...!" Marco would say a little more enthusiastically now as he got up and Alora would watch in awe of the trick Frankie showed them, and since she was next to Frankie he'd look at her and he'd speak. "Want one?" He'd say, and with her nod of agreement, he'd toss one to her and she'd catch it. "Thanks." She'd say and he'd just reply with a "You're Welcome!" as he then saw Evan next to him and attempted to hand a flashlight to him, and Evan would just give him a look which made Frankie realize Evan had no arms. "So—" "Don't even bother." Evan would interrupt Frankie, and he'd just walk off with Austin as Frankie then went to pass the flashlight to a now standing Marco and then go to follow Evan and Austin along with the others in the group.
As Austin and the group walked through the forest with a new member Frankie, they would have started slaughtering TawClaws to keep themselves awake as well during the night, Marco having to purposefully trip every time. Which would lead him to complain;
"Why me!"
