Nova Swan {Embry Call}

How would you feel if your older sister came back suddenly to live with you and your dad after not talking to either of you for years ? Perplexed? Yeah that's exactly what I'm feeling my dad is supposed to get here with Bella any minute and I can't seem to find anything to be happy about her return. Last time we talked was the last day of the summer she was here she was 12 she's now 17 you do the math. Over the years I lived to accept that my sister didn't care about me since well if she did she would have gave me call at least but nope never in five years as she called me once. So yeah I'm not so thrilled that she comes back I tried to be happy for my dad who's been hoping that she'd come back ever since that last summer but it's hard. When I told my best friend Jake that she was coming back he was super happy I mean it's no surprise ever since we were kids he had a crush on her. Disgusting. I hear my dad pull up into the driveway and I step outside onto our small porch to at the minimum welcome my sister back. They got out of the car and dad smiled at me when he saw doing an effort he knows why I'm not super happy but with dad it's easy he doesn't try too much.

"Hey dad how was the ride ?" I ask my dad as he walk inside the house. "Quiet" he simply replies with an awkward smile. "Hey Nova" says my older sister "Bella welcome back I hope you're ready for a lot of raining and barely any sun" I say before turning on my heels and going back inside.

I went up to my room {media} and texted Jake to tell him that my dad and Bella had just gotten here I know him and Billy had a surprise for her. Once that was done I put on my earphones and started my homework. Happily for me I don't go to Forks High so i won't have to see Bella when I'm at school I go to the school on the reserve I had asked my dad to go there when middle school was over because I didn't want to be alone. So that's where I go with all the Quileutes which most of them are my friends. Jacob is my best friend, Embry and Quil are good friends of mine along with Jared. I also have girl friends but I'm not as close to them as I am with the guys. There's Kim which is Jared's girlfriend and Amelia a girl from my classes. I heard a car pull up in the driveway and I knew it was Billy and Jacob so I ran downstairs I ran outside and smiled at Billy and Jake I hadn't seen them in a week which is the longest ever I was so taken with homework and helping dad redo a bit of Bella's room that I hadn't time to see them.

"Hey Nov !" Says my best friend with a smile. "Hey Jake hey Billy !" I replie with a smile. "If it isn't my favorite Swan !" Says Billy with a warm smile making me chuckle. "Wow Billy you like my daughter more then me I'm hurt old friend" says my dad while faking being hurt . "Come on now Charlie you know Nova is like a third daughter to me" replies Billy with a smirk and giving me a wink. "Well I am always over so I guess it's understandable" I replied with a chuckle

We all laughed and Bella finally got outside. I stepped on the side so she could get down to dad, Billy and Jake and I watched not listening to what they were talking about but I could see that Jake still had a crush on her. Seriously I don't get it. At least Bella seemed happy about the truck. I went back inside going back to my room. I finished my homework and got into my pyjama before going to bed. I look at the ceiling thinking of what Bella's arrival could change in my life.

•••Next morning•••

I stopped my alarm as it was ringing and got up stretching my arms. I went to the bathroom and took a quick shower. Once out I dried my hair with the hair dryer, then I went back to my room a towel wrapped around my body. I went over to my wardrobe and got dressed casually for school. Some dark blue skinny jeans, a black t-shirt and a kaki jacket with long sleeves. I rolled up my jacket sleeves and as I was going downstairs. I went in the kitchen and my dad was already there reading his journal and drinking his coffee he looked up as he heard me getting downstairs.

"Morning Nova" says my dad "Morning dad" I simply replied. I went over to the fridge and grabbed an apple starting to eat it. "I'll see you tonight dad I gotta go if I don't want to be late for school" I tell him between two bites of my apple.

"of course I can come pick you up after school if you want" dad asks

"sure that would be great thanks dad !" I tell him with a smile before leaving the house. I put my earphones in and started to walk towards my school. After about 15 minutes I was finally in front of the school. I saw my friends outside talking and walked up to them.

"Hey Nov !" Says Quil cheerfully. "Hey guys ! So yall ready for another boring day in school" I say with a smile. "when is it ever boring when you have classes with me" says Embry with a playful smile. "Yeah no you're right you totallyyyy make everything better Embry... oh wait nah you don't I do !" I say with a chuckle and a smirk

Everyone laughed and we walked inside joking together.

•••End of school•••

As always classes were easy and boring even though Embry and Jared kept on being their stupid selves and ended up having detention because they wouldn't stop talking while the teacher was talking. I was waiting for my dad to come pick me up since he said he would come get me when I felt my phone buzz in my pocket. I took it out reading the text.

I'm sorry sweetheart I can't come get you something came up but Bella is on her way to come get you

I put my phone back in my pocket and waited for my sister to come pick me up. I was waiting in the entry of the school since it was pouring down outside.
