The past month and a half was pretty boring and I was currently studying with Jake to help him out in biology when Billy wheeled into the leaving room.
"Nova you need to go home" says Billy.
"what's going on ?" I ask him frowning.
"it's Waylon... he's dead" he reveals
"Oh my god ! What ? How ?" I ask my eyes widening at the news.
"Animal attack" Billy simply says.
"Shit alright well thanks Billy I'll text you later Jake" I say as I pack my things up.
"Yeah of course Nov" says Jake as I run out the door to find Paul waiting outside.
"I'll give you a ride Nov I heard about Waylon" Paul says getting in his car.
"Thanks Paul" I say as I get in his car and he drives me home. After about 10 minutes we get home and I get out the car and run inside as I see my dad's police car in the driveway.
"Dad !? Dad !?" I call out as I enter the house.
"I'm here Nova" says dad from the leaving room. I can hear the pain in his voice.
I went into the leaving room and I could see the few tears that he had shed and I immediately went to hug him. "I'm sorry dad I know you and Waylon went way back" I say to him as I keep hugging him.
"He was one of my oldest friends" my dad says hurt filling his voice. I hugged him as he quietly cried. After all the times where I had cried and he was there it was my turn.
A few weeks later
Last week we had Waylon funeral it was sad and I was by my dad's side so was Bella but she didn't really know how to act or what to say. Bella has been hanging out with Edward Cullen feels like they might be a thing. Tonight Billy and Jake are coming to see the first Mariners game home. I heard a truck pull up and I knew who it was but I still looked out my window and smiled seeing Billy and Jacob. I walked downstairs and opened the door smiling at Billy.
"Nova ! How's my favourite Swan doing ?" Says Billy a big smile on his face.
"I'm doing great Billy how's Rachel ? I haven't seen her in a while" I ask him with a chuckle.
"Yeah she spends a lot of time at Paul's" reveals Jacob
"Well he is her boyfriend any news on Rebecca ?" I ask with a chuckle
"She's living her best life with her husband in Hawaï" says Billy clearly not liking this much.
Dad: "Yeah by the way no marrying before any of you are at least 25" says dad to me and Bella
"Dad !" I nearly yell exasperated
"Oh he's right you better not get married before that Nova actually no boys before you're 30 !" Declare Billy
"Oh come on Billy !" I say a hint of fear in my voice.
"Nope I don't want a repeat of Rebecca Nova" says Billy
"Ok ok I get it but let's bargain a bit no boys before I'm 18 ?" I bargain because ain't no way I'm waking that long.
Dad and Billy looked at each other with a small smile.
"Fine at least it gives us 2 more years" Dad says looking at Billy
I chuckle and go into the leaving room.
A week later
I officially met Edward earlier today as much as the Black's don't like him he seems fine to me. Bella went to play baseball with them. Which is odd because Bella and sports don't mix at all. I was peacefully studying when I heard shouting.
"I'm leaving now" says Bella slamming the door of her room.
"Bella ? Bella what's going on ? Did he hurt you ?" Asks dad going after her.
"No" replies Bella going to the bathroom slamming the door again.
"Break up with you or something ?" Asks dad trying to understand as she gets out of the bathroom.
"No I broke up with him" she says going downstairs.
"I thought you liked him ?" Says dad
"Yeah that's why I have to leave I don't want this I have to go home" she says
"Home ? Your... your mom's not even in Phoenix" says dad
"She'll come home I'll call her on the road" says Bella
"You're not gonna drive home right now you can sleep on it. If you still feel like going in the morning, I'll take you to the airport" says dad
"No I want to drive it'll give me more time to think. I mean if I get really tired I'll pull into a motel I promise" Bella argues
"Look Bella. I know I'm not that much fun to be around but I can change that. We can do more stuff together. Me, you and Nova" Dad try hoping that'll make her stay.
"Like what ? Like watch baseball on the flat-screen ? Eat at the diner three times a week ? Steak and cobbler ? Dad that's you and maybe Nova but that's not me" she says spitefully
"Bella come on, we jus-" starts my dad
"We just got you back..." I cut my dad upset from the top of the stairs
"Yeah, and, you know if I don't get out now then I'm just gonna be stuck here like mom" she says without even a glance at us. She slammed the door and I went back into my room slamming my own. I grabbed the nearest thing which so happened to be my nightstand lamp and throw it on the other end of the room. The lamp smashed into pieces and I wanted to scream and punch but at the same time I wanted to cry. She left me again. I should have known better I was about to forgive her and she just left again ! I'm mad at her but mostly at myself. I went to bed trying to forget about her.
Next day
I was woken up by my dad saying we had to go to the hospital. Apparently Bella fell down two flight stairs and went through a window. So I quickly got dressed and got into dad's car. A few hours later we were in Phoenix hospital. I didn't really want to come but i was dragged so I was sitting in the waiting room half asleep.
Few weeks later
Bella got better and came back home with dad and I but I didn't talk to her what she said to us even if she apologized it wasn't enough she'll have to show me. Anyway tonight is prom I know Bella is going with Edward I saw her dress and all as for me I'm going by myself 'cause I'm a bad bitch and my dad is dropping me off. I looked at myself one last time before going downstairs.

Dad smiled at me I already heard Bella leaving with Edward. "You look beautiful Nova" says my dad with a smile.
"Thanks dad" I say to him smiling.
"Shall we go ?" Ask dad
"Absolutely" I say nodding. We left the house and got into dad's car. After a couple of minutes we were at the school I gave my dad a kiss on the cheek and got out the car. I smiled as I saw my friends I walked up to them with a big smile on my face. We went inside and enjoyed prom night all together. We danced and had so much fun.
