T/W: mentioned abuse and drinking
I was breathing so hard I could feel my chest rising up and down, "MATT" was the last thing I heard until I passed out.

I woke up with yet again another sharp pain in my eye, "argh", I winced as the pain rose and sunk. "MATTY!", I turned my head to the chair at Gus's desk Gus looked so happy, until his face sunk. " WHAT HAPPENED" he yelled, my panic rose once again, the last time I encountered my dad he yelled like Gus just did. My eyes widened as my breathing became heavier and heavier, my body shook like a earthquake as I heard Gus yell. I noticed that Gus was a lot worried and concerned rather then angry at me, but that didn't stop my panic from taking control.
Gus walked up to me with that same concerned look on his face, as he got closer to me I rose my hands to cover my face "please don't hurt me!" I trembled as he came closer, I didn't realise but tears were streaming down my face. Gus eyes widened with shock as he processed that statement, his eyes went back to that same calm look he always has, I shook even more as he came even closer I braced when I felt him touch me. Gus touched me so I braced, I seemed to have forgotten that innocent sweet witch inside him when I realised he was hugging me.
If I'm being honest I haven't had a truely deserved hug in a while, not even from Steve but it made me cry even more as I realise he actually cares about me. I thought about those glandus kids and bria (her name doesn't deserve capitals) hurting and bullying me, I let go of Gus and looked up at him he smiled kindly at me, but his eyes still showed concern, and that made me do something I never thought I would.
