Welcome dear readers! Let us explore what is happening around Wattpad this year.
Wattpad is a platform were writers of all kind can come together to share their stories and poems.
The platform is famous for its annual award (which it officially host), "the Wattys" which is open for submissions from July to August with results declared in December. They accept completed and ongoing novels.
Other annual awards to look forward to (hosted by ambassadors) are:
-"the Ambys" - submissions throughout August, and accepts short story, novella and novels
- "Open Novella Contest" (ONC) - submissions for round one in February, round two in March and third (final) round in April, accepting only novella (20000-40000 words) based on prompts given
-"Aim To Engage" - submissions from beginning of November to mid December, accepts short story and flash fiction based on 30 prompts given.
If you are not a writer, there are plenty of stories available to read from.
