Chapter 3

We woke up early in the morning for rehearsal and by the time we walked out of the hotel, Puss noticed a letter peeping out from my purse.

"Princesa, there's something peeking out from your purse," Kitty said.

I looked into my purse and noticed a letter in the shape of a heart. I took the letter out from my purse and it said that it was from a secret admirer.

"Dear Pretty Lady,

When I first saw you during the auditions, I was impressed by your singing, including your family. I was very moved by your talent and your beauty. You're the most beautiful person that I have ever seen. Your eyes are like windows to my soul. Your complexion glows in the sunlight. You even have the most ravenous smile that I love the most. I just wanted to let you know that I think that you're very beautiful and talented at the same time.

From Your Secret Admirer," I read.

"I have a secret admirer," I exclaimed.

"Well, we'll find out who's your secret admirer once we get to Moon's theater right away," Sonic said.

As we made our way to Moon's theater, almost everyone was there on the stage while Moon was making his announcement.

"This contest is war! This stage is the battlefield. Your song is your weapon. Now you only get one shot to blow that audience away, so choose carefully from the list of songs I've selected for each of you." Buster announced.

"Ah, talk some sense into that boyfriend of yours?" Buster asked as Ash arrived.

"Lance is an artist, but I wouldn't expect you to understand that." Ash replied.

"You're right. I don't understand that at all. Now, you'll notice each list also includes my costume and performance suggestions. Okay? Miss Crawly will show you to your rehearsal spaces. Now, let's get to work!" Buster announced.

"Excuse me, Mr. Moon? For some reason, it says here that I should be playing the piano?" Johnny asked.

"Yes, just imagine, a big soulful guy like you tenderly playing the keys. There'll be goosebumps everywhere!" Buster replied.

"Well, I haven't played piano since I was a kid." Johnny said.

"Miss Crawly! We're gonna need some piano lessons over here." Buster said.

"Yes, sir! Up the stairs, I'll be right along." Miss Crawly said while leading Johnny upstairs.

"And, Pete, you're in here." Buster said.

"You got it, Mr. Moon." Pete said.

A few minutes later...

We got assigned to do any genre that we can do for the competition and I was sitting against the wall thinking about the letter from my secret admirer.

"Everything okay, sis?" Charmy asked.

"Yeah. I couldn't stop thinking about that letter from my secret admirer," I replied.

"Well, why don't you try to write a letter back," Charmy said.

"I can do that through song!" I exclaimed.

Back at Moon's office with Johnny and Miss Crawly...

Miss Crawly was helping Johnny with the piano and Johnny started thinking about me as his crush.

"Something on your mind, Johnny," Miss Crawly asked.

"Yes, Miss Crawly. I have a crush on one of the group contestants," Johnny replied.

"Who," She asked.
