15. Distance And Desires

As time progressed, everyone was busy with their lives. Taemin was busy with his school, jimin, and Jhope were busy in chorographic a dance number where they had to spend extra time than normal, taehyung was so engrossed in his business, making up the work he couldn't do during his trip with jimin and maybe he was keeping himself busy to stop thinking irrational thoughts.

Taehyung focused on his work at the office, but his mind kept wandering back to his family at home. He couldn't shake off the feeling of being disconnected lately.

As the day progressed, Taemin found himself engrossed in school activities, from attending classes to playing with his friends during recess.

In the afternoon, Jimin wrapped up his dance rehearsals and headed home, feeling a sense of anticipation to reach home. He hoped that spending time with their friend Flex and Jungkook would lift Taehyung's spirits and bring back the spark to their family dynamic.

Jimin reached home, unlocked the door, went to his room, and freshened up. He changed into some comfortable clothes, he went downstairs while dialing Taehyung's number, who picked up the call on the fourth ring.

"Taehyungie" jimin said in his honey voice as soon as taehyung picked up his call. A smile spread on the other's face after listening soothing voice.

"Hey, babe" taehyung replied

"I'm missing you' jimin said, suddenly his eyes fell on the family photo on the wall, and he stood there, thanking his heaven for blessing him with such a wonderful family.

"Miss you more, my love" tae replied, leaning back in his seat.

"Then come back soon," jimin said, without thinking, eyes still lingering on the photo, looking at every feature of taehyung, which he had memorized.

"I wish I could," taehyung said while taking a deep breath.

"Of course, you can ask Hyung to cover for you today," Jimin said, he didn't know why but recently he found himself always missing Taehyung, though other were always near him

"He can't, he is working on some important project at the moment," taehyung said, he desperately wanted to come back but professionalism is important as well, he can't overload his brother with his work.

"C'mon taehyungie, I want to be near you," jimin said, eyes started to fill with tears but he controlled himself, not wanting to worry other.

"I want to be there too, just some hours, is everything alright though?" Taehyung asked getting worried because he knew jimin usually wasn't such a clingy person, he always understood professional boundaries,

But at the end of the day, he is a human too.

Before jimin could answer the bell rang, "yeah, everything is good. I think Taemin has come back from school, I'll talk to you later" jimin told him, taking his eyes off of the picture and moving towards the door

"Okay, love you and Taeminie," taehyung said, he suddenly felt his heart heavy because of the thought of jimin wanting him but he couldn't leave,,, Ahhh,, life.

"We love you too, bye," jimin said and hung up.

He opened the door and Taemin jumped in his arms, he said thanks to the driver and closed the door behind him.

"Hy apppa," Taemin said, hugging jimin

"My baby, how was your day?" Jimin asked, kissing his warm cheeks.

"It was good, we are having a friendly football match among school students," Taemin excitedly told him

"That's amazing, so how's the preparations?" Jimin asked, making him sit on the slab, and pouring him some cold water
