It's the sound.
The sound of droplets hitting the cold concrete floor.
I laugh.
I laugh hard, gripping my hair as I do so, as my laughter echoes in the cold walls, red liquid staining my surroundings.
Everything is blurry, as I listen to the clock in my head tick, is it in my head though?
My laughing dies down, as my fierceness takes over, Alessandra is longer forgotten... all is left, is the monster. The monster that I've been keeping hidden in my insides for far too long...
