Ever stopped what you were doing and thought- Wow my life is a mess!
Well, I did.
I thought of how different this world, this state, this community, this neighborhood would be without dear old Charlotte Reigns.
People usually say that the best things in life come with patience and that dreams and fairy-tale stories come true to people of this world.
But me- an eighteen year old senior in high school didn't think so."Charlotte", I heard my dad call to me. "Honey, are you crying?".
With a swift move, I immediately touched my face and there for sure were stray tears on my face."No daddy, of course not! Why would I be crying and most importantly why would I be upset?" I stated genuinely.
"Well for one Char, you haven't touched your breakfast".
My dad only called me by my nickname when he was worried, he used to call me "Cherry-Pie" along with my mother but instantly stopped as soon as the break occurred.
"Char, are you okay?", my dad stated snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Daddy I told you I'm fine", I spoke out. "I guess I just missed my friends", I lied.
I hated lying.
No, I detested it. I thought it was wrong and I thought it was another one of the worst things that humans could do to each other. Some call it exaggerating the actual truth a bit, but there should never be a reason to exaggerate if all anyone wants to hear is the truth.
However, over time that changed.I changed.
I became fond of the deceitful activity and rapidly embarked in lying to my father. My only parent.
"Well okay then, hurry and eat your breakfast before you're late to school", my dad said.

I arrived to Adams High School two minutes late which caused my English teacher, Mrs.Cornerstone, to viscously scold at me in front of everyone in the class.
I walked away from her and headed to my seat. From there I noticed my three best friends, Henry Grey, Lesley Scott, and Jasper Rower staring at me from the corner of their eyes as if I had committed a crime they knew about.
I gave them a glance that asked them what the heck their problem was, but all I got back was a finger pointing to the hottest boy in school, Desmond Brayston, who was surprisingly staring at me, but immediately looked away when I looked back.Desmond is another one of those boys who believed no girl could ever get a chance with him because he was too good for them. Main point is he's a conceited jock.
However, that didn't stop the "populars" from chasing after him every chance they got. It's completely sickening.
I mean who-"Ms. Reigns!", I heard someone shouted out to me. My head instantly jerked up to look at a frustrated and irritated Mrs. Cornerstone. "What's the answer?"
"Umm I d-d-don't kn-know" I stuttered aloud. "Dang it, I'm stuttering again" I whispered out.
"See me after class Charlotte".
All I did was nod.
For the rest of the period, I sat uncomfortably in my seat as Mrs. Cornerstone continuously sent me glares across the room. Finally the bell indicating the end of the period rung and I made my way to Mrs. Cornerstone's desk while the rest of the class walked on.
"Charlotte, I believe I'm going to have to give your dad a call".
"No, please don't", I cowardly stated.
"You leave me with no choice, Charlotte, first you come to class tardy, then you zone out and stop paying attention in my classroom".
I looked at her with the most sincerest look and apologized. Then I walked off heading to my math class meeting Henry, Lesley, and Jasper on the way.
