Keith's POV:
I was asleep in my room... the next morning the sun shined through my window which made me cover my head with my blanket... "Hey Mullet! Wake up!" I heard Lance yell from outside my room
"What the hell Lance!" I yelled back... I then heard Shiro from downstairs
"Keith, language!" I groaned and got up... I got dressed and exited my room and went downstairs to the kitchen to see everyone awake
"Today's the day I go to your guys school... Are you guys excited?" Shiro asked and I leaned against the counter and rolled my eyes
"I am!" Lance said smiling
"Me too!" Pidge exclaimed standing up
"Same!" Hunk said, smiling and excited
"Keith?" Shiro asked as he looked at me
"Huh? Oh, yeah, I am" I said looking at the ground with my arms crossed
"Keith? What's on your mind?" Shiro asks with a raised eyebrow
"Probably thinking of his crush" Lance teased making me glare at him
"FOR THE LAST TIME, I DON'T HAVE A CRUSH ON HER!" I yelled at Lance
"Keith! Don't raise your voice at your brother" Shiro said looking at me
"IT'S NOT MY FAULT HE'S GETTING ON MY NERVES!" I said then turning to grab my backpack and walked out the house slamming the door behind me
(Y/n)'s POV:
I was walking to school... well... driving.... Because my mom woke up early enough to drive me to school... even though she would normally make me walk... today was a special day... my birthday... yippie "I can't believe my baby's finally 17 today"
"Mom, there's no need to praise me about it"
"But I have too, your my only child and ever since your father-"
"Please... don't bring up dad... I know we both miss him... but that was years ago..."
"Your right... I'm sorry I ever brought him up"
"That's alright mom" I said looking out my window with a soft but sad smile... then I saw Keith "Wait... mom... slow down"
"Hm? What for?
"Just do it... please"
"Alright" as she slowed down the car slowly driving next to Keith he looked at us and I rolled down the window and smiled at him
"Hey, Keith, need a ride?" I asked Keith looking at him with a smile
"Hm? Yeah sure, as long as it means I can get away from my family" I turned to my mom and she unlocked the doors allowing him to hop in the car with us... she then locked it again and drove her normal speed again
"So... Keith was it?" my mom asked, glancing at him then looking back at the road
"Yep, I take it (Y/n) told you about me before?"
"Yeah, she did, actually, she talks about-"
"Mom, don't you dare" I said glaring at her
"Fine, fine, I won't tell him" my mom said rolling her eyes and staring back at the road
"Tell me what?" Keith asked from the back seat and a raised eyebrow
"Nothing!" I said quickly looking back out the window, making my mom and Keith look at each other and shrug then look back at the road, once we got to the school my mom parked in front of the school
"Well you two... have a good day at school" my mom said waving us goodbye, when we almost got out Keith stopped me by grabbing my arm
"Wait" he said making me and my mom confused... then we looked in front of us to see Lance, Hunk, Pidge, and Shiro get out of the car
"Isn't that... Lance, Hunk, Pidge, and Shiro?" I asked raising an eyebrow and looked at him
"Yeah, uhh, I kind of got in an argument with them this morning... so I'm gonna stay here until they go inside" Keith said releasing my arm... I looked out my window and they stood outside the door... waiting for Keith to get there.. then Shiro looked at my... well... my mom's car... and pointed it out. Shit... we're screwed I thought to myself and looking at my mom who nodded slightly and then Keith who also nodded slightly... I took a deep breath and left the car closing the door... once I got everyone inside I gave a thumbs up allowing Keith to get out of the car
"Thanks Mrs. (L/n)" Keith said with a smile to my mom
"No problem Keith, just happy to help my daughters friend" My mom said smiling back... he was surprised at first but closed the car door and walked over to me
"So, what are you doing after scho-" I then interrupted him by giving him my address and phone number
"My birthday's today, I gave you my address and phone number in case you want to come over, with or without your family, it doesn't matter who you come with or if you choose not to come with anyone, that's still fine" I said as I watched him take the folded piece of paper from me, his finger gently touched my hand
"Ahem... uhh... I should... go" He said as he quickly walked off
"Yeah... bye" I said waving to him... I then sighed and walked to my class... Math... once I entered and I sat down in my seat... after class I went to science... I sat down and looked out my window while gently tapping my pencil against my notebook
"Alright class... today is gonna be a little different from yesterday... because today Mr. Shirogane is with us today" Mrs. Yoshika said to us as Shiro entered the classroom
"Hello class" Shiro said to us waving with a smile
"Hello Mr. Shirogane!" the class said in unison
"Please, just call me Shiro, no need for the formalities" He said with a nervous smile, I then raised my hand to ask a question
"Yes, you with the (h/c) hair and (e/c)" he said pointing to me
"(Y/n) is my name, and I have a question" I asked putting my hand back down
