"That doesn't help Mullet" Lance said glaring at Keith
"Whatever... Fuck off" Keith said still glaring at Lance... just then Shiro came into the cafeteria and sat at our table
"Language Keith" He said sitting next to him
"Jesus! Where did you come from?!" He exclaimed as he was surprised making us all laugh... except me... I didn't laugh... although I chuckled slightly and quietly
Keith's POV:
I was surprised when I heard Shiro beside me making me jump slightly... everyone at the table started laughing... except (y/n)... she didn't laugh as hard as the others... she chuckled slightly and that was it... I couldn't help but stare at her... creepy... anyway...
"Keith? Keith? Keith!" I heard (y/n) yell my name snapping me back into reality
"H-Huh?" I said blinking a few times
"You kinda... sorta... zoned out while staring at me... are you ok?" she asked looking concerned and worried
"O-Oh, yeah, I'm fine" I said looking at the ground nervously
"You sure?" she asked looking more worried than concerned
"Y-Yeah... I'm sure" Why am I stuttering so bad? I thought after I had said that I was fine...
"Alright... well... whenever your ready... go ahead and talk to me... alright?" she said smiling softly
"Y-Yeah... alright" I said still looking away and at the ground again
(Y/n)'s POV:
I looked at the clock "Oh, shoot, I gotta go... my mom's picking me up early" I said standing up and waving them goodbye and throwing away my trash and running off to grab my stuff... once I did I ran outside to wait for my mom, I was on my phone when I heard
Beep Beep "Vamos (t/n)!" she said unlocking her doors letting me in, once I got in the car, she started driving away to our house "So... did you invite any of your friends?"
"Mom, I don't have any friends... except for Keith, Lance, Hunk, and Pidge... And their all a family... although I invited Keith... so he might or might not go with his family... say... is Uncle Joe, Aunt Lola, cousin Lee, Grandpa Long, and Grandma Athena gonna be there?" I asked looking at my mom with a raised eyebrow
"You bet they are, they made time especially for you on your birthday" she said glancing at me then looking back at the road
"Yes!" I cheered quietly, once we arrived home my family gave me a hug as soon as I entered the house
"I can't believe it! Your finally 17 today!" Aunt Lola exclaimed making me chuckle, then my mom tapped my shoulder making me look at her as everyone released me from the hug
"What's up mom?" I asked looking concerned
"Remember when I said you were an only child..." she said looking at the ground
"Yeah?" I said raising an eyebrow
"Well... happy birthday" she said as everyone moved to the side allowing me to see in front of the kitchen... I gasped and my eyes went wide
"Happy birthday (y/n)" the boy in front of the kitchen said holding his arms out for a hug with flowers in one hand
"I-Is this?" I said looking at my mom who nodded
"(Y/n)... meet your older brother... he was in the Garrison ever since you were 1... so you don't remember him very well... he was 18 when he went to the Garrison... he's 34 now..." she said with a soft smile... I looked at him and started tearing up
"Your saying he's been gone... for 16 years?" I said looking at my mom still surprised and tears in my eyes
"Yes... I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner" she said looking regretful
"I-It's fine... m-mom... I-I just can't believe it... I-I mean... I have a brother..." I said walking to him and wrapping my arms around him... he then hugged me back
"You look just like your father... Akio" my mom said smiling softly
"Thanks... speaking of father... where is he?" He asked curious... making me look at him and seeing the resemblance between them... I then backed away from him
"O-Oh... he... well..." My mom started... I then started to tear up and I ran off to my room "(Y/N) WAIT!" my mom said yelling after me... she then flinched slightly when I slammed the door
3rd person POV:
"What's up with (y/n)?" Akio asked with a raised eyebrow and looked at Luna
"W-Well... we all miss your father Akio... but her... she gets really emotional whenever we bring him up..." Luna said looking at the ground
(A/N: Luna is the mom, Akio is the brother that was presumed dead in space but came back after he was found, Caleb is our father who IS dead in space... [or is he?] Lola is our Aunt from our mom's side, Joe is our uncle that is married to our Aunt Lola, Grandpa Long is from mom's side, grandma Athena is from our dad's side cousin Lee is the son of Aunt Lola and Uncle Joe... I am so sorry... I couldn't find any better names... so I took what came straight to mind)
