Their 'date' was going smoothly.
Markus was obviously pulling the craziest stunts while Gianna watched — She was trying not to drool.
At one point, Mark took out an array of chips and gummies from his bag.
"So that's why his bag was puffier than usual... He probably hid those so that Brad wouldn't eat all of them.." Gi thought to herself, laughing at her own remark.
They ate for a while before they decided to go back to skating.

10 minutes passed, when she heard a groan coming from their spot, where they had set everything up;
Backpacks, skateboard wax, water bottles and the snacks. She turned around only to find Markus, with multiple scratches on him.
One on his cheek, a couple on his knees and arms and even on his neck.
The girl furrowed her brows as she walked towards him.
"And how did this happen?" She asked worriedly.
"Ah, it's nothing, Gi. Don't worry, I'll be ok."
"No, it's not fine. C'mere." She reached into her pocket and pulled out a bandaid.
She dragged the boy closer by the arm and gently placed the bandaid on his cheek.
"There. It won't make a big difference but at least it'll hide the scratch." Gianna said, before placing a small kiss over the plaster.

She then ran off and continued skating, as if nothing happened.

Markus was left frozen, the small peck on the cheek made his heart flutter.
Now he was SURE he liked her.
