You wake up in a room you've never seen before, in shock you try to sit up but a spiking pain in your shoulder stops you. "I wouldn't sit up if I were you, you've lost a lot of blood. were you stabbed of something? Oh, I'm Jeff by the way".
"h-hi jeff" you say through pain "I was going to say, 'don't you think id remember if I got stabbed' but...uhm I don't remember a thing."
Jeff gives you a look then starts to laugh which makes you laugh but you stop instantly as the movement makes your shoulder hurt. "When will my shoulder get better?" you ask. "It shouldn't take long, maybe a day or two" jeff replies as re raps your arm up in a bandage. The British boy you remember as Newt walks into the hut and gives you a small smile "it seems your awake. how's your shoulder feeling luv?"
For some reason when he calls you love if gives you butterflies, stop it y/n keep yourself under control you tell you self as you melt in his smile.
"I'm good thanks, though my shoulder hurts like hell" you say and give him a small smile back.
"You know, you're the first girl in the Glade!" said newt.
"What a thing to live up to." you both laugh and you realise he's not just cute when he smiles, he's also adorable when he laughs to.
Newt and you stare at each other, lost in in one another's eyes until Jeff came in and says you need to go back to sleep and build your strength for tomorrow, you and Newt blush realising you were staring at each other, and newt says bye and leaves, your get as comfortable as you can on the bed and fall asleep dreaming about newt, his smile, and his laugh.

you wake up and look through the gaps in the door from your bed and see that it's still dark you sit up slowly waiting to see if your shoulder hurts and surprisingly it doesn't. you slip out of bed and but on a jumper from the box of things you were sent with.

you wonder outside and walk to what seems like a fire pit with logs around it, you sit down on a log and look at the stars. you sing to yourself a song you remember from before the maze,

After the song you feel tired again and go back to the hut to sleep.

You wake up when jeff and another boy walking into the hut, "Goodmorning Jeff and person I don't know." you smile lightly. "Wow Jeff you went kidding there is a girl in the glade"!
