You and Newt leave the hall and walk around the glade he shows you the different jobs and you meet some people.
"So, what jobs interest you?" Newt asks as he flicks a piece of hair out of his face.
"I'm not quite sure yet but I don't really mind as long as it's not a slicer" you reply.
"Not a fan of cutting up animals?" he laughs "neither it takes a certain person to be a slicer". you laugh and chat for a bit more but by then its 10 minutes to the bonfire.
"Hey um y/n" he asks.
"Yea?"
"you sister was buried yesterday... do you want to see her grave?"
you feel like a block was put onto your chest and you can breath. "o-ok, let's go..." newt lead the way into the forest where your sister was buried under and willow tree with a small wooden grave head the read-
Here lies beloved rose sister of y/n
you broke down crying and newt sat down next to you and wrapped his arms around you.
"she's resting now.... in heaven she's happy and relaxed now and honestly, she's in a better place than us right now" he says quietly, soothing you.
after about an hour you leave the grave and walk around the rest of the grave. in attempt to cheer you up newt tells you some jokes and tells you about the gossip in the glade. Then he tells you what you should do next for the bonfire.
"there's a box of stuff with clothes in it that you got, in that box there's typically a pair of clothes for your first bonfire to dress up nice, no one else really dresses up but it's a party in your honor so yea you can go get ready come here in 10 minutes or so and the bonfire will have started!" Newt says, "see you soon luv."
"Ok thanks blondie, see you soon."
you walk over to the med hut which you've been sleeping in, apparently their building your hut and it will be don't tomorrow, so you just have to spend one more night in the med hut.
you go to your box and find a nice dress; you change into it and do your hair. This is your outfit-

You wear black sandals with this dress and the necklace.
You hear the bonfire start so you leave the hut and go to the bonfire, as you arrive everyone looks at you in shock, you hear a few murmurs-
"Dam she looks hot". "don't forget I called dibs". "Dude you can't call dibs on her!" "Who ate my cupcak... woooww she's hot!"
You ignore everyone and look for Newt who was talking to a boy named Minho and hasn't seen you yet.
you walk up to them and tap newt on the shoulder. "Hey guys!" you say as Newt turns around to face you, when he sees you, his jaw drops and his eyes go wide, you just smile at them and sit down with them on a log "can I have a drink?" "u-um yea sure" newt say flustered and passes you a drink "by the way this drink isnt for everyone" newt says a smile returning to his face.
You take a sip of the drink and find its not actually that bad, so you take another sip "wow that's the first time I've seen a greenie drink that without spitting it out" says Minho obviously impressed. "Thanks, I guess" you say and take another sip.
you notice newt is staring at you with his big brown eyes "what?" you ask him with a giggle "do I have something on my face blondie?"
"n-no not at all, your perfect... I-I mean umm your fine I guess n-nothings on your face umm...." Newt responds with a strong blush on his face.
You giggle a little and ruffle his hair. "Thanks blondie."
You have a great night and drink LOTS you go back your room very drunk.

newt Pov
You wake up again in the middle of the night to the sound of screeching from the maze, you decide to get up and sit my the fire pit again as you leave the hut and walk to the log you usally sit on but you see someone is there already.
"h-hello?" you call out. "Newt? is that you? it's me y/n". "Oh, hi y/n what are you doing here?" "can't sleep, you?" "Same."
you go over and sit next to y/n you mind is running wild you can't stop thinking omg shes so beautiful. m-maybe I should tell her I love her....
just then y/n leans her head on your shoulder and that gives you enough courage to tell her.
"y-y/n, can I tell you something..." "Of course, newt" "I-I like you y/n, I like you a lot and I just can't stop thinking about you and I just-" you sentence gets cut off when y/n leans forward and kisses you. your startled at first but you eventually kiss her back.
"I like you too Newt, I have since I got here" she says smiling widely at you. You felt a burst of happiness and love course through your veins.
You lean forward and kiss y/n again, you're so happy this is the best night of your life.

Newts confessed his feeling for you, He likes you to! after you kissed him, he kissed your back.
This is just the most perfect night ever; you lean of his shoulder.
"Hey y/n?" "Yea?" "c-could you sing for me?" "Yea of corse but I'm not very good". "I don't care if your good or not luv." "Okay then" you prepare yourself then start singing.
you sing one of the few songs you remember, you think this song was from a movie, but you sing it anyways.

You sing the whole song before falling to sleep, you feel Newt pick you and carry you to your bed before falling into a dream about Newt.
