"Ugh I'm so glad to be home, I hate car rides." I say while we walk down the hallway. I grab my keys and unlock the door.

"Shit." I say putting my stuff down and rushing over to the kitchen island. "What's wrong?" Travis says, highly concerned.

"I told the kids I would grade there essays! Travis I had a whole week to do this." I say panicking.

"Baby it's okay, don't beat yourself up about it. They'll understand." He says being reasonable or whatever.

"Trav I don't break promises with my students." I say flipping through the papers. For once my students actually wrote more than 2 paragraphs.

"Tay there's no way you can get through all those tonight." He says leaning back against the counter.

"Unless..." I start to say with a smirk.

"Oh no." He says.

"Yes sir. You are going to help me grade these." I say while nodding my head.

"You're so lucky I love you." He says and shakes his head while walking over to me.

"Aww I love you too. Now grab that stack!" I say pecking him on the cheek and skipping over to the couch.

I put my stack on the little coffee table and grabbing 2 red pens from the cup.

Travis sets his stack down then walks into my bedroom— our bedroom. A few minutes later he comes back out wearing a pair of grey Nike sweatpants and white socks, no shirt. "Come here." He says walking over to me. I stand up and take a step to him before he's in front of me.

He tells me to lift my arms up and he slide my hoodie over my head and drops my pants, letting me step out of them. He then slides a big Kansas City chiefs shirt over my head, it's clearly his shirt.

I get up on my tippy toes and kiss him before mumbling a thank you against his lips then kissing him once more.

"Okay, so you just need me to read them then grade them based off of it?" He says as we sit down and get comfortable again. He throws the blanket from over our couch and crosses it over our legs.

I tuck my legs under me and grab the first paper and show him what to do. I decided that he would fix grammar, make suggestions and edit them, then I would give them a grade.

We get about half way through the stack and I throw my head back letting out a loud groan. "I truly am so lucky that you love me, even I don't wanna be doing this at..." I check my watch and my eyes go wide "— AT 2:56 AM?! Oh my gosh." I say and go back to grading as fast as I can.

"You know if we were still friends, like if you hadn't written that letter, I would probably still be here helping you." He says after a few seconds, still not looking at me and just nervously marking papers.

"What?" I say smiling and looking at him, taking a pause from reading.

"I really liked you. You could've called me at 3 am and I would have came over straight away to help you." He says finally looking at me.

"Don't like me so much anymore?" I say jokingly.

"Not like, love." He says with a wink.

He pats my knee and says, "come on baby, only 3 more left."

We get through the last 3 papers and once I place the last one down on the stack I immediately swing my leg over Travis's and settle straddling his lap. I ring my arms around his waist and tuck my head into his neck.

He secures me in his arms tightly before slowly standing up, giving me a chance to latch onto him standing.

He walks us into our bedroom and yanks the blankets back, setting me down. I reluctantly let go of him knowing that the sooner I'm settled the sooner he's gonna join me.

He walks into the bathroom for a moment then comes out, getting comfortable next to me. I instantly crawl so our hips are pressed together and I'm literally right on top of him, using my hands to hold the sides of his waist and resting my head on his chest so I can hear his heartbeat.

"I love you swift." He says rubbing my back slowly.

"I love you Kelce." I mumble back.
