Liam quickly slams the gas pedal as the NSX lurches forward. The sudden acceleration catches him off guard, nearly causing him to hit the Huracán in front of him. Regaining control, he finds a comfortable spot in the racing group, settling into 6th place as the racers navigate Hell's Corner. He immediately realizes how tight this race will be—cars are inches away from him on every side. The claustrophobic setting plants a seed of worry in the back of his mind as he approaches Mountain Straight. Knowing this is one of the few relatively safe overtaking opportunities, Liam prepares to pass the Huracán ahead. Just as he makes his move, he spots an R8 in his blind spot, forcing him to abandon the attempt. But as soon as he pulls back, the R8 overtakes him instead. Logan's voice crackles through the radio.

Logan: Liam! Don't give up any chances for an overtake!

Liam feels the pressure building.

Liam: What?! I couldn't pass!

Logan: I know, but you shouldn't have fallen back into position—it leaves you open to getting overtaken yourself! If an overtake doesn't work, stay where you attempted it! Now come on, get in the game!

Liam: Okay!

Frustrated, he mutters under his breath.

Liam: Putain...

As they approach Griffin's Bend at high speeds, Liam brakes—but all the other cars fly past him. He was sure he braked at the right time. Did he miscalculate? His position drops from 6th to 8th.

Logan: Liam! What are you doing?! That was an early brake! On this track, you have to brake later than usual to keep up with the race's flow. Fix it next time!

Liam: Okay! Sorry!

Anger bubbles inside him. What's changed? Has he suddenly lost his touch? Is he just not good enough anymore? His frustration builds—but deep down, he knows he's not a one-hit wonder.

Liam: Logan! I'm doing my own thing! Cutting comms!

Logan: Whoa, whoa, wai—!

Liam shuts off the radio, cutting Logan off. He clenches his jaw and locks in. Back in the pits, Logan scrambles to reconnect the comms.

Logan: Hello? Liam? Liam! Mother—

The camera shifts back to Liam as he approaches "The Cutting" turn. He spots a tiny gap between the track wall and the GT-R in front of him. Without hesitation, he threads the needle, hugging the apex perfectly. The maneuver lets him pass both the GT-R and the GT500 beside it in one bold move. A small smile creeps onto his face—he's back where he started, in 6th place.

At the Reid Park section, a Vantage attempts to overtake an RS7 Sportback but misjudges the turn. The Vantage clips the RS7, sending it spinning into the wall with a sickening impact, leaving a massive skid mark. A yellow flag is thrown, forcing all the cars to slow down. As the crash is cleaned up, Liam reconnects his comms.

Liam: Are they okay, Logan?

Logan: Yeah, they're fine. Don't disconnect again, you hear me?

Liam: I'm sorry, but I feel like I have a plan that doesn't involve you.

Logan exhales sharply.

Logan: Listen, I know this means a lot to you, so I'll let you run this your way. But if you screw up, I'm not holding back—I'm tearing you down, got it? Now go get 'em. And stay safe.

Logan disconnects, shaking his head in mild disapproval. But he takes a deep breath and looks up at the sky.

One lap after the crash cleanup, the cars are back at full speed. As Liam crosses the finish line, he slams on the gas, launching his NSX forward with sheer force. Now fully in sync with the car, he hunches down, smirking as he enters his flow state. The roar of the crowd fades into the background, replaced by the deep, rhythmic growl of his engine.

Liam: Hmm.

His sights lock onto the Huracán in front of him. He's determined to break out of 6th place. At The Dipper, he inches closer, studying the tight back-to-back zigzag ahead. He waits patiently for an opportunity. The Huracán takes a perfect line, blocking any chance of overtaking. The Huracán overcompensates slightly but still doesn't leave enough space. The Huracán oversteers completely and starts spinning out. Time slows. Liam reacts instantly, hugging the inside corner and cutting dangerously close to the apex. He rockets through the turn while the Huracán spins out behind him. He remains perfectly straight, shooting forward and closing the gap to the BMW M8 in 4th place. Passing Forrest's Elbow, Liam trails the M8 down Conrod Straight at 126 mph. The next major obstacle—the high-speed Chase turn—looms ahead. Both cars are flying well over 110 mph. Liam listens intently to the M8's engine, waiting. He hears it—gears revving high, nearing the redline. Liam shifts early in preparation, waiting for the moment the M8 has to shift. The instant the M8 shifts—Liam slams on the gas. His NSX surges forward, perfectly timed. He slips past the M8, taking a flawless racing line through the turn. Liam crosses the finish line for his final lap—now in 4th place. Back in the pits, Logan is speechless.

Logan: What?! Oh my God! What?! Holy shi—! Haha! He's amazing! He's just amazing!

Liam smiles, still locked in his flow state. As he approaches Hell's Corner one final time, his grip tightens on the wheel. He's not done yet.
