As Liam passes Hell's Corner, he slams on the gas pedal again. The engine of the NSX GT3 roars to life, launching him forward as he sprints down Mountain Straight, closing in on the Bugatti EB11 ahead. The EB11 whines powerfully as it flies through The Cutting section of the track. Liam tucks in behind it, drafting to pick up speed. The EB11 driver notices this and accelerates, but pushes too hard as they approach Skyline. Liam seizes the opportunity to overtake, but the EB11 swiftly blocks him. Reacting instantly, Liam brakes—but catches himself mid-brake, turning the car left to create a slight opening. He shifts early, gaining more acceleration mid-turn, and flies past the EB11. As he does, he glances through his passenger window with a confident smirk. In the pits, Logan watches the TV coverage and jumps in excitement.

Logan: Oh my god! Haha! Yes! Go, Liam! Holy shi—

Liam grins as he closes in on the Corvette holding second place. The Corvette driver, sensing Liam's approach, aggressively blocks him as they race down Conrod Straight. The battle intensifies as they approach The Chase, each fighting for the perfect racing line. Liam finds himself on the outside of the turn—a massive disadvantage. Thinking fast, he waits. As soon as the Corvette driver hits the brakes, Liam brakes harder but catches himself mid-brake, upshifting quickly to gain acceleration. In a split second, he dives to the inside. The Corvette driver, caught off guard, veers right in search of Liam's position—only to realize too late that Liam has already slipped through the gap. Now in second place, Liam suddenly spots the leader ahead and is shocked by how close he actually is to first. He slams on the gas, the car surging forward as he locks onto the Bentley Continental GT. Liam eyes the final turn, expecting a battle—but then notices something shocking. The Bentley driver has left the inside wide open. A mistake. Feeling the rush of victory within reach, Liam reacts instantly, diving for the gap—only for the Bentley to suddenly spin out! The unexpected maneuver forces Liam to slam on his brakes, barely avoiding a collision. He watches in disbelief as the Bentley driver masterfully drifts around the corner, straightens out, and rockets toward the finish line in dramatic fashion. Liam crosses the line just two seconds behind. Stunned, he drives into the pits in silence. As he parks, the team rushes over, cheering him on.

Team Member 1: Damn good racing, Liam. You're a hell of a driver.

Liam forces a small smile, but the team quickly notices something's off.

Team Member 2: Hey... You alright? You seem down. I don't see why you would be—you raced amazingly.

Liam shakes his head, stepping out of the car without a word. His eyes lock onto Logan, who approaches with a huge grin.

Logan: Jesus, Liam! That was some amazing racing. Maybe the best I've ever seen. Damn good job.

But Liam just walks past him, his expression distant and defeated.

Logan: Liam? What the—? Hey! Liam! What's wrong? What's wrong, man? Liam!

Liam ignores him, heading straight for the pit garage. He storms through to the mobile lounge at the back, shoves open the metal door, and slams it shut before collapsing onto the couch, fuming.

Logan follows, tracing Liam's steps through the garage. Hearing the lounge door slam, he exhales sharply and mutters to himself.

Logan: Goddamn it. Why, Liam? Why?

With a frustrated groan, he presses forward, heading for the lounge.
