THE ONE OF two sounds echoed throughout the seemingly red and black night was that of the seven hurried footsteps of the teens rushing towards where they knew their safe haven to be alongside the panting, labored breathes of those very same individuals. They were all rushing through the thick forest of black and gray colored trees, following behind their leader.

The 'leader' of the group was Ashlyn Banner, a short girl, the shortest within the pack of seven teens, with long ginger hair that was tied back into two twin tail braids that flew down her back and into the wind as she ran.

"Time?!" Shouted out the twin tailed girl as she glanced back towards the group of six rushing to race back to their destination. Her dull, forest green eyes were wide with obvious panic overriding them as her gaze fell specifically on the bespectacled male that was running two people behind her.

"Eight minutes!" The dirty blond-haired boy with glasses who was known to be Logan Fields shouted back at the ginger after he took a quick glance down at the timer he had set onto his watch. Within his grasp, besides the watch, he also held a loaded sniper rifle, which he fortunately, he hasn't had to use on their outing just yet and if anything, they all wished to keep it that way.

"Shit..." Cursed out a black-haired girl that was near the end of the pack, Astoria Hawthorn, her pace slower than it should be considering she was purposefully falling to the back of the pack to make sure that no one fell behind. Her grey eyes frantically glancing around the area, insuring nothing was closing in on them. Though she knew all too well that she couldn't say the same for behind them as she could hear the loud snapping of branches echoing behind her as the crazed monster chases after them.
