0007. FACE PAINTING
THE JOURNEY ABOARD the horse-drawn carriage, while only lasting a brief half-hour, sparked a flurry of ideas among the group for how to spend their remaining hour exploring the town. The rhythmic clip-clop of the horse's hooves and the gentle sway of the carriage seemed to stir their imaginations, leading them to a unanimous decision - they would each take turns selecting locations to visit during their final hour.
Ben was the first to choose, his eyes falling on an antiquated gravesite that piqued his curiosity. Astoria, however, found herself at a loss to identify the true nature of the site. Despite her uncertainty, the group was swept up in a wave of excitement.
Taylor, always the adventurous one, coaxed Astoria into scaling one of the gravestones with her, much to Tyler's disapproval. He expressed his disapproval loudly, his protests echoing around them as he urged them to descend. Yet, his words fell on deaf ears as Aiden, unable to resist the allure of the adventure, joined the girls.
Their antics atop the gravesite were immortalized by Logan, who had thoughtfully brought along his Polaroid camera. He captured the moment perfectly - the trio perched atop the gravestone, their faces alight with exhilaration, against the backdrop of the trees surrounding. This picture, a frozen moment in time, would serve as a testament to their adventurous spirit, a valuable addition to their project.
