As the moon cast its gentle glow over the kingdom, Umbreon made his way to the throne room, his heart heavy with anticipation as he wondered what awaited him there. The palace was quiet now, the echoes of celebration and mourning fading into the night as he approached the grand doors. "Why did King called me in this time?"
Stepping inside, Umbreon found King Regulus waiting for him, his expression solemn yet welcoming as he gestured for Umbreon to approach. "Thank you for coming, Shadow," the king said, his voice echoing softly in the vast chamber. "I wanted to speak with you in private, away from the distractions of the day."
Umbreon nodded respectfully, his eyes fixed on the king as he awaited his words. "Of course, Your Majesty," he replied, his voice steady despite the apprehension he felt.
As they stood facing each other in the dimly lit throne room, King Regulus spoke with a sincerity that touched Umbreon's heart. "I wanted to personally thank you for your bravery and selflessness in the battle against the dark forces," the king said, his voice filled with genuine appreciation. "You risked your life to protect my daughter and our kingdom, and for that, I am eternally grateful."
Umbreon bowed his head humbly, his heart swelling with pride at the king's words. "It was my duty, Your Majesty," he replied, his voice tinged with emotion. "I will always strive to protect the kingdom and its people, no matter the cost."
The king smiled warmly, his eyes reflecting the respect and admiration he felt for Umbreon. "Your loyalty and dedication are truly admirable, Shadow," he said, his voice filled with genuine admiration. "You are a valued member of our kingdom, and I am honored to have you by our side."
With a nod of gratitude, Umbreon stepped back, his heart filled with a sense of purpose and determination. As he left the throne room, he knew that he would continue to serve the kingdom to the best of his abilities, guided by the knowledge that his efforts were appreciated and valued by those he swore to protect.
And as the scene faded to black, it was clear that for Umbreon, the journey was far from over. But with the king's trust and support behind him, he was more determined than ever to face whatever challenges lay ahead and continue to fight for the safety and prosperity of the kingdom he called home.
"Chosen One... And Savior... You Can take anything you want" king spoke. But Shadow nodded in refusion " I don't need Anything your, Majesty" he said. "I assume you won't take any gold or silver.... But..... Will you take something else more valuable for me than anything else?" King Questioned. Shadow didn't quite understood his words.
As King Regulus spoke, his voice carried a weight of solemnity and reverence that left Shadow momentarily stunned. The words "chosen one" and "savior" echoed in his mind, stirring feelings of both humility and determination within him.
When the king offered him any reward he desired, Umbreon's initial instinct was to refuse, as he had done before. But as the king's words continued, Umbreon felt a sense of curiosity prickling at the edges of his consciousness. What could be more valuable than gold or treasure?
"I... I don't understand, Your Majesty," Umbreon admitted, his voice tinged with confusion. "What could be more valuable than the safety and prosperity of the kingdom?"
But before King Regulus could respond, a soft rustle behind them caught their attention. Turning, they saw Aurora emerge from behind a nearby pillar, her eyes wide with surprise and curiosity as she listened in on their conversation.
The king's gaze softened as he regarded his daughter, a small smile playing at the corners of his lips. "Ah, Aurora," he said, his voice warm and affectionate. "You've been listening in, I see."
