Chapter 20 Stolas & Loona

LOONA POV

Loona Couldn't believe she was in somebody's mind. Especially Her Dad's mind. She was following Stolas Walking through a wasteland that she didn't enjoy. { this is Dad's mind? Why doesn't he tell anyone about this}

Stolas: He didn't want to be a burden.

Loona: What?

Stolas: Sorry. Sometimes if I'm stressed I'll read people's minds by accident.

Loona: Oh. I didn't think that.

Stolas: I understand your thoughts about him, but this is him. While here I have been feeling the pressure of his thoughts, one keeps popping up "Don't let them see the pain".

Loona: Why?

STOLAS POV

Stolas was about to answer when another voice spoke through the fog.

Blitz's Mind Verosika: Because he's a selfish shitbag.

Loona: Verosika?

Blitz's Mind Verosika: The hound is following in her father's footsteps in being a failure.

Loona deflated and stepped back not wanting to deal with her idol no matter if it wasn't real.

Blitz's Mind Verosika: That's what I thought. Now Prince, You know he won't love you anymore if you save him.

Stolas: How would you know that?

Blitz's Mind Verosika: I was his girlfriend once. He didn't care about me.

Stolas: Why did he leave you then?

Blitz's Mind Verosika: Because according to him my use was over.

Stolas: Maybe you were the terrible one.

Blitz's Mind Verosika: Excuse Me! He didn't care about me.

Stolas: Aren't you a big Pop star? Maybe he thought you didn't care about him more than your career.

Blitz's Mind Verosika: No No NO. He didn't love me! He's not worth it!

Stolas: Yes he is. Come on Loona, Dear. We need to find your father.

Loona slowly walked past The image of her idol to get to Stolas.

Blitz's Mind Verosika: You think you can walk away! He will leave you! He Doesn't LOVE ANYONE!

Stolas Come on Dear.

Loona: Sorry I couldn't help you. I look up to her.

Stolas: She Isn't worth your time.

Loona: I might agree but.

Stolas: No buts dear, she is a bad influence.

Loona: Why are you treating me like your daughter?

Stolas: Sorry. I just felt I needed to. *quietly* maybe I will be your father*

Loona What?

Stolas: Nothing.

Loona: OK, whatever you say.

Stolas smiles and continues to walk through the wasteland

LOONA POV

Loona kept walking with Stolas not knowing if her father was alright when a heavy breeze picked up.

Loona: What the Fu-

Blitz's Mind Loona: Wow you can leave him you know.

Loona: Who?

Blitz's Mind Loona: Oh you know who.

Loona: Stolas?

Blitz's Mind Loona: He can't help you.

Loona: Why am I here? I love Dad.

Blitz's Mind Loona: HA! Be honest with yourself he isn't worth anything. We don't need him. He needs us.

Loona: Then let him need me.

Blitz's Mind Loona: He needs a family. If you leave he'll break.

Loona: Why do I want that?

Blitz's Mind Loona: Have you ever needed him?

Loona didn't know what to say when things faded to black and reappeared in a memory

Blitz's Mind Loona: You were what? annoyed? Aggravated?

Loona: I felt he was pressuring me. So I was scared to accept him. I was independent before him so I was afraid. I was scared not to be alone anymore.

Blitz's Mind Loona: We don't deserve to be alone. But he does.

Loona: No he doesn't I'll stay at my dad's side.

Blitz's Mind Loona: Maybe We're more resilient than I thought.

Loona watches as everything fades away and she wakes up. {I was asleep?}

Stolas: Loona! Dear, are you alright?

Loona: Yes. Just a memory.

Stolas: Well chop chop young lady we need to go.

Loona: Why?

Blitz's Mind: Well because of me of course.
