Marcus stood in the shadows. Beside him were Gabriel and Luka. With a determined look, he stared towards the hall in the middle of nowhere.

"Those two lions are back at the entrance," Luka said.

Marcus nodded.

"They're big," Luka grinned.

"The bigger they are, the harder they fall. Expect my signal!" he said coldly and started walking. With a lazy gait, he approached the entrance. The bouncers immediately noticed him. They looked at him with grim faces and clenched fists, ready for a fight.

"Wonderboy," the taller one said. "Long time no see."

One of the bouncers smirked wickedly at Gabriel.

"From today, you guys work for me!" Marcus declared decisively.

"I don't know if Roman would agree to that," the other one said.

"You've always been sympathetic to me, so I'm giving you a choice. I won't offer it twice."

He looked dominant. His face revealed nothing. They knew how powerful he was.

They intensely stared at each other for a short while.

"What if we refuse?"

"I don't need dumb males," he coldly replied.

The taller bouncer gritted his teeth, ready to attack, but the shorter one stopped him by grabbing his elbow. "Brother!" he said in a whisper.

Marcus redirected his gaze towards him, saying nothing. They communicated wordlessly. They stepped aside, clearing his path.

He entered the hall. In the middle was an improvised ring where two males were fighting. Blood streamed down their sweaty bodies. They ruthlessly beat each other, gasping for air. They were visibly injured. Black collars around their necks prevented them from transforming. The spotlight was on them, further heating the atmosphere, while the rest of the hall was in semi-darkness. The smell of blood mixed with the scent of cigarettes and alcohol. The whole scene was grotesque. A group of spectators yelled around the ring, cheering and cursing the fighters. Marcus watched the obscure scene with disgust.

"This ends today," he thought to himself.

Suddenly, faces began turning towards him, recognizing him. "Wonderboy," he heard whispers behind him as he walked towards the stands.

The crowd parted before him, allowing him a clear passage. He continued towards his goal. The murmurs suddenly quieted, and the referee signaled the end of the fight. All heads turned towards him, following his every move.

"Roman!" Marcus shouted.

In the stands, in the shadows, a dark figure was visible, along with the glow of a cigarette. Roman stood up in his box. On both sides of him, sat two scantily dressed women, also wearing collars around their necks. Marcus quickly glanced at them. Both shamefully looked down, lowering their heads. Visibly broken, they couldn't withstand his dominant gaze.

"I knew you'd come back, boy," Roman said calmly. Marcus approached him even more.

"Where is she?" he asked coldly.

"Where is who?" Roman smiled.

Suddenly, Marcus let out a thunderous roar and leaped into the air with ferocity. In two powerful jumps, he was over Roman. Knocking him down with a foot, he pinned him to the ground. In the distance, the sound of guns being cocked could be heard. Security surrounded him, aiming their weapons at him. Sharp claws emerged from his hands. He forcefully pierced Roman's shoulder with his left one, causing him to scream in pain, while with the other, he grabbed him by the throat, drawing blood.
